The movie deserves an Oscar for displaying India's behind the scenes truth in such a hilarious and touching way...outstanding efforts by all. Being an Indian, especially in a foreign country, I dont feel for a moment that this movie is offensive. I find it a great work of art and drama and fiction. I know many foreigners in India, who get cheated with money. I havent seen any India getting cheated overseas (western world), atleast I havent been, hence no reason for me to feel bad and al the more reason to feel good about this beautiful film. Hope the reality opens a few eyes and India becomes a better place to live in...Hopefully...

But they get murdered, raped, humiliated, thrown out, unaccepted, etc. If this is not so called cheating what is it?
don't understand why people follow Raja Sen, Taran Adarsh and S Suman. As Warner Brother did not pay them their fees to write good review That is why they are wrting bad review. How many people have actually watched the movie. please watch he movie and you will find urself that this is a good movie also you will see one wonder of the world. it has gr8 action and comedy.looks like whole media is against Akki. Which is unfair. telling before its release that it is funny movie and made for kids
we are equal...no hunan should be addressed as a dog...except for his actions..that makes the sponsors and the terrorists the biggest dogs and the ones who finance them even bigger since they hide their acts..
Re: The Oscars - Math Question for those fida over A.R. Rahman

he has a 20% chance in best music score and 67% chance in best song category. remaining u calculate.
After all this is crystal clear that India cannot bag oscar nomination/award unless it has foreign component to refurbish the get-up and the overseas award givers read their kins in the title footage.
I am very much pleased that AR Rehman's two songs(i.e.,Jai Ho &O Saya)are selected for best song nomination in OSCARS but I am sure that most of us agree that AR Rehman is capable of composing better songs that these two......As we have already seen him in JANE TU YA JAANE NA,YUVRAAJ,GAJHNI and the list continues......Even in past he composed some very good numbers in Oscar Nominated LAGAAN.Whatever,we know who AR Rehman is and what he is capable of.......So Hail AR Rehman and Laugh at Oscars
It has always been a trend that if you show India's poverty in movies, you are bound to get noticed by the western media and get awards from the west. I am not surprised.
Certain people in Britain are still 'fixated' with India.
I have been to London several times, and the poverty in London is worse than India.
Bollywood needs to make a movie on 12th century England and name it:
