i live in USA but i still love my motherland india ....... i go to temples regularly n donate money for poor unfed / unclothed indians ..... its so depressing to visit india becoz of its poverty ...... i pray for india ..... u see, my parents' sanskars keep me down to earth
In this forum, I have read maximum comment against indians by none other then INDIANS THEMSLVES. Why are we degrading ourselves, yaar ? Ok, Japan is behaving very well in the wake of such a tragedy, but that does'nt mean that we should start comparing our country with them ? Indian was and always will be a land of peace, maximum no. of indians are vegetarians. U know one thing, cruelty does not mean only killing people or raping women. Pity should be shown to animals also(animals have also been given a life by the almighty). JAPAN is very cruel towards animals, they kill shark, whales, etc just for the joy of tongue.

Understand,there is no gurantee against the power of nature/All mighty/God. No matter how strong structures man makes. Man can not win against nature.Man makes the projects like Nuclear installation(also others) thinking it is safe ,till one day he is hit by mother nature.After atomic bomb dropping on Hiroshima,Nagasaki,Japanese thought that making nuclear Power stations are safe, till it was shaken by earthquake/Tsunami few days back. Just imagined it has happened in a country where the people and system is one of the best in the world. What will happen if ther is earth quake/TSUNAMI IN cities like Mumbai or Chinnai. Use your imagination.
If anything like radiation hazard happens in India, it is a boom for the country & politicians! It will reduce the population overload, lots of compensation moneys that the politicians can make sure to grab. Still Mera bharat mahan rahe ga!
We should establish more nuclear power plants in Maha so that when tsunami strikes, the ghatee-marathis get wiped out, solving this ghatee problem of India forever.
We are a great country. We have immense knowledge. We have a large talentted pool pf scientists. We have everything to be the world leader. We need Nuclear reactors for the future needs of the country. We need to have them for our growth.
There is one big caution we need to have. We lack is honesty and integrity in public life. So when we create these facilities, we many times fall prey to politics, corruption, poor worksmanship, etc, etc and end up having facilities of poor standards. The problems lie here.
Any calamity that happens in our country takes away so many more lives than elsewhere because of the above cancers the country has grown to live with.
We have seen road / train accidents killing several people, earthquakes killing thousands, all these could have been avoided if we had ensured honesty and integrity in public life. Once these happen, our politicians are imediately happy to announce compensation to victims and measures to avoid future tragedies. Speeches, TV debates, Rasta Rokos, Bandhs, etc all these happen.
Strangely what were the so called "brains" doing untl now. Did they want the japan earthquake to happen to voice their concern.
