Fukusima's Tragedy And Indian Reactors
by D goel on Mar 17, 2011 05:25 PM

D. Goel pkl. afternoon 5.1`0pm, Thursday, March 17, 2011.
The reactions of West from California to Italy, France ,and West have been almost shot of Panic response. Fearsare expressed that Fukusima may be greater Atomic Hazard than Chernobyl in Ukraine or 3-Miles Island in
States.
China also is withdrawing going gaga with Nuclear Reactors.
The write-up suggests that are we Indians and their Nuclear Bosses fully aware of the great Risks that disasters like Fukissima pose for a savvy technological sophisticated country like Japan.HOW FAR we can cope with such a Tragedy God forbids if it Happens.
We in India are hardly effective to do precision work to avoid our Atomic ambitions, as the infra-structure is still despite claims by our Scientific Elite ,of very low Grade.Any disaster like Earth-Quake or Tsunami as worsted Fukissima -Reactor and valiant efforts that technicians are continuously putting up , there, with all the hazards of Radio-Actiive Exposure past few days is not likely to be equally made in india. We must learn to be much less hopeful in this scenario.
D. Goel

Face shortage or Take risks. No Pain No Gain
by rishi on Mar 17, 2011 05:12 PM

There is no reward without any risk. We have a huge and massive demand for energy and if we want it to be satisfied then we have to assume risks or else we can perpetually live with demand-supply shortages and the bottleneck to our needs.

Stop this whining and crying. If we look at POSSIBLE NEGATIVES in everything then we should not be doing anything at all. And that is what we always end up with because of protests. We don't end up doing ANYTHING and reach a stalemate always. EVERYTHING in this world has disadvantages so be decisive and take as many advantages the move offers.

If you ask Japanese whether retrospectively they would have still wanted cheap power all these years from this medium then they would still say yes

Does India ever learn? We have an illustrious history of never learning & doing the same mistakes over n over again (which continues even today & will continue forever.)

& while on the subject, India's alrerady doomed for extinction so why worry? Just sit back & count your days to D-Day.

I can't understand why media tries to make us us, uk,japan. Yes we should learn from what has happen in Japan & make our system more robust. How do we learn. we do experiments & on basis of them come to solution. since this rich country have money to spend on this research, they are able to develope new technology. well in india we want every thing ready made. so we should try to come out of it as quick as possible & go into investion mode. Then see where ndia goes.India can do it as I would rate Indians as most inteligent for logical thinking. Its not a joke looking at welfare of high population.

India is most intelligent- this stupid myth & over confidance, showoff is killing India.
japnese, korean, chinese,, israaili as well as Americans are equally or more intelligent.
But they don't claim it. Just prove it by doing all scientific innovation.
We are self created intelligent.
Yes Indians are good but it doesn't mean that they are best in world.

Yes and you float toward land at the speed of sound with solid object hitting you.
There is no system on earth that will save you. and if you do survive then you will be swept back int to sea.
Only a miracle can save some one in such situation.
