You have a problem with that ? Do you have problem with Hindu's living as hindu ? Then get the hell outta here. Who cares what Afghanistan thinks? Do they have TV over there ? I thought they had brains of neanderthal.
TV Serials from US, Europe, China, Japan, Honkong etc. present the way of life of the people in their countries. That includes religion, customs, traditions, arts. it is the same with indian TV serials and films. but that does not thrusting a religion on others. Moslims live along with Hindus who are the majority in India and the film and TV is only a small part of their life.

Let us examine the concept of God in these two major religions in light of their respective scriptures and study if there are similarities.
First we shall discuss the Concept of God in Hinduism.
a. COMMON CONCEPT OF GOD IN HINDUISM :
If you ask some lay persons who are Hindus that how many gods do they believe in, some may say three, some may say thirty-three, some may say a thousand, while some may say thirty-three crores i.e. 330 million. But if you ask this question to a learned Hindu who is well versed with the Hindu Scriptures, he will reply that the Hindus should actually believe and worship only one God.
b. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ISLAM AND HINDUISM IS THAT OF %u2019S

The major difference between the Hindu and the Muslim is that while the common Hindu believes in the philosophy of Pantheism, i.e. %u201Ceverything is God, the Tree is God, the Sun is God, the Moon is God, the Snake is God, the Monkey is God, the Human Being is God%u201D, all Muslims believe that %u201Ceverything is God%u2019s%u201D.
The Muslims believe that everything is God%u2019s. GOD with an apostrophe%u2019s%u2019. Everything belongs to the one and only unique eternal God. The tree belongs to God, the sun belongs to God, the moon belongs to God, the snake belongs to God, monkey belongs to God, the human being belongs to God.

Muslims put God in a box....number of gods is immaterial if One promotes such competition in worshiping god..Monotheism is the most dangerous concept invented by man, ever since Middle Eastern tribes like Jews started asserting One tribal god above others, these people have been fighting about God...Hinduism and the other eastern religions are Evolved religions which emphasize Goodness & spritual elevation rather than debates on number of gods, true religion, wrong religon, hell, heaven and all those things.
As an emerging economic power India needs to be culturally assertive and have the same brand glamor as Hollywood and everything American from cowboys to hamburgers have...The Indic culture is extremely popular with its colorful festivals, joy and warmth, music and attire. India should never ape anyone, but develop its own signature culture...Hindu culture is just that - its religion cuts across and accepts all forms of worship...promote Hindu way of life thru entertainment...one day Afghans will be tamed too.
