So the cacophony of sanskrit shlokas in the background is what we call a Hindu sanskriti. But how many of us have cared to see what goes in the foreground. Take a closer look... it will be some lady bitching another lady. Or may be some character plotting to kill or shatter some parivar. Understand there is nothing even remotely Hindu about these tele-soaps. Does Hindu religion permit a man having multiple marriage? Sometimes with the same lady without ever having divorced her. Also I have to come across a single person who came back from the dead. Even if he was a Hindi God. Dead people come alive to save the TRPs and stupid people continue to see this putrid drama with jaws dropping. The good old times when every soap had to go through the rigorous checks of Mandi House were so good. We produced jewels like Hum Log, Buniyad, Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi etc. These satellite channels are secretly destroying our culture, our harmony, our peace of mind and also our religions.
Hinduism is the only way out of this Jihad/Crusade madness which kill people in the name of God. Promote Hindu tolerance and counter chaotic Middle Eastern religions.
Thats exactly what is 'Bharat' & 'Bharatiyata' which is called India n Indian-ness. "Hindu" is not a religious term, just a connotation for people who live on this side of the Sindhu river !! And what u call - 'Hinduism' -is "a way of life, not a religion" as per the Supreme court itself.
The Indian way of life is synonymous with what u call Hinduism. The Muslim culture has its allegiance to Arab world & the Christian culture glorifies Western values. Inspite of the Muslims & Christians being 'patriotic', their cultures/Sanskriti is un-Indian.
only serials made by balaji production higlighted hindu rituals.they never show INDIANESS[our beautyfull culture]ekta kapoor is big threat to our secular country.i have great respect to every religeon.everyone ientitle to follow there faith.but when it comes to entertainment u have to show what the COMMON people like to watch.balaji tele serials never shown the middle class people which consist major population.its only showcase unreal world

INDIAN SERIALS R A SCRAP.THEY HAV BEGINING N NO ENDING,TEACH NON-SENSE AT MOST TIMES,DOONOT REFLECT THE MAJORITY LOWER MIDDLE CLASS & R TIME KILLERS.THEY TEACH SAS-BAHU RIFTS,NEW METHODS OF TIT-FOR-TAT N SO ON.
What is the objection ? How can any body expect pro islam ie anti hindu,christian serials in india.what is more important is they are not against any religion.plese do not bring islam in tv serals of india.
I totally disagree, i question where do this community go....if you see neighbour countries.. hindus are reducing in numbers .. being killed everyday and no-one worries about them.. whereas in their own country .. showing own culture everyone object...it is quite not undertstandable....

Our serials are neither Hindu oriented, nor Muslim oriented, but villain-oriented. In all the serials, the villains/vamps are more intelligent, crafty, cunning, while the heroes are dumb and have less than a normal person's IQ. The heroes do not understand even what is obvious and and are suffering and weeping all the time.
What message do these serials convey? None. Perhaps they do teach that if you want to succeed, be a villain/vamp in the family. Why are Afghans afraid of these illogical stories. Their viewership is rapidly declining even in India.
