If BJP is serious then think of:
by sunder on May 17, 2009 02:48 PM

"'For a party that desires to change the nation, the party must first instill change in the party. Does not matter how INC does business or XYZ party does business, it's about time the BJP does business differently and stand out as a force of positivity. Have a national referendum to select a party candidate just like the US primary. This will galvanise the rank and file and allow everyone a chance to vote their leader and give every party member a voice. Be the agent of change instead of giving lip service to it.' "
Excellent,
This is the Best way to rebuild the party. And hope this will be heeded by BJP leaders.

Bjp failed to impress middle class.
by bimal mohapatra on May 17, 2009 02:47 PM

The result clearly shows the absence Mr.A.B. Bajpai's personality. The position of L.K.Advani that he is in politics for a very long time and so,he deserves an opportunity to head the nation has not gone well with middle class voters who are mostly educated and have aspiration with modernity. This is reflected with voting percentage. In majority of states and mostly in urban pockets voting percentage is less than 45% except Orissa and few others where voting percentage is above 55.It is learnt that whenever there is less than 45% of vote, in that election it is the Congress which wins. When and where it crosses 55%, the non-Congress have been winners. It was their in 1977,1989&1999 general elections. All these elections were fought on strong issues and there were leaders who hit the middle class. Middle class voters come out in large number to votes only when there is issue and inspiring leader. This is absence in this election. Although they do not like to vote Congress and its allies ever yet they can not go with BJP. In case of Orissa and wherever BJP wins, the voting percentage is above 55%. Other reason: dropping of "India Shining slogan" and basking on good works done during 6 years of NDA rule. In 1999 election, BJP had heavily basked in previous one and half years of its rule. That highlights helped BJP for a better show. There is no reason to be apologetic for India Shining slogan. India had actually started shining with increase of GDP, opening of job opportunity, etc.

Rrigginngg Is King!!

Rrigginngg Is King!!
Clear RriggginnggOf Elections via Kangress appointed CEC
Everybody who was troublesome for Congress has lost:
Left Down 50%
Mayawati's BSP: Down 50% (Even though she was expected to do extremely well)

Jayalalitha: Last time 0 this time up, but not much at all, even though expected to do well
Laloo & Paswan(Had given Congress only 3 seats): Down 70%
Shiromani Akali Dal: Down 50%

Chiranjeevi: Expected to do very well in AP, crushed

On Other hand:
AP, Kangress expected to get smashed, sweeps.
Kangress needed to get a foothold in UP, Bihar, was unthinkable earlier but again, has happened
Kangress needed to crush BJP, whereever they had established a foothold: Orissa, BJD unexpectedly sweeps
In Bihar, Nitish gets so much success, it has upset balance between him & BJP. So he will start thinking of ditching them

UPA gets close to majority AND no one suspects that its rigged.
Kangressi Channels(NDTV, CNN-IBN) are exact in exit poll predictions, everyone else is wrong (Ha!)
Chief Election Commissioner has won it for Kangress. Just like the West-Indian umpire handing cricket series over to Australia.

NET RESULT, inspite of TERROR ATTACKS, PRICE-RISE, MINORITY APPEASEMENT, by putting rubberstamps in all important positions, Kangress has won...

Kangress actually winning in UP. Huh??? Thats a no-brainer.. Thats RIGGINNGGGG

Wait for next wave of terrorism & price-rise.
It is about to begin now..

You might want to check the hours of power-supply, growth rates, standard of living.

There is something called PERFORMANCE, but why care when you can just rig elections.

Indira started use of money power in Indian elections. That led to current rise of criminals & dalaals in our polity

Now Congress has moved ahead in the game by Rigging
This will one day lead to violence & civil war.

We are becoming another PAK.

Wait for next wave of terrorism & price-rise.
It is about to begin now..

I understand.. you wont answer any points just make stylish remarks.

The real looser is Indian democracy

Anyways your party is now in power.

Does it matter by what means??

4:BJP don't have any vision for India's Development.
5:BJP is very polite to Fundamentalist like Ram Sena.

by Vageesh Vaidvan on May 17, 2009 02:32 PM  | Hide replies

Total voter turnout in all constituencies in all states and in all phases is 50% among which the following people will only vote:

1.35-40% lower caste H1ndus(SC/ST/other tribals).

2.15% Musl1ms.

3.5% Xt1nas.

Since voter turn out is only 50%, They will represent 85% of total vote and obviously they are vote bank oif Con-gress :-)

Where are youths in Congress??????
by Vageesh Vaidvan on May 17, 2009 02:31 PM  | Hide replies

Congress does not have any youth leadership it only have dynasty. If it claims to have youth where are they other than political families who are fighting in place of their fathers. They don’t have any. They get votes in the names of their family what are the credentials of Jyotirditya and Sachin pilot and where are the youth leader at all. It is the party of corrupt beaurocrats who knows how to digest the money and have old beaurocrats who knows the system and siphon off the public money. They divide the people in the name of Muslim vote bank and Dalit vote bank. Now they can project the old son of Delhi CM Shiela Dixit as youth.

BJP will strike back.
by Cool Mahesh on May 17, 2009 02:30 PM  | Hide replies

The vote only suggests that BJP is still strong in many pockets of the country. Wherever they have won they have routed the UPA. The same needs to be replicated in the states where they failed. It is not that BJP have lost. NDA have gained nearly 165 seats. That is sizeable. We are backing BJP and continue to do so. BJP will definitely strike back.
