First of all Indians have to thank providence that they have the promise of a stable government when countries in the neighborhood are on the boil.
It is immature to brand INC as secular or BJP as communal. These labels have got attached to them because of a few highly visible personalities. It is the duty of the people of the nation to mould the agenda of the two parties to achieve a healthy two party system.
BJP has failed to communicate with the minorities. BJP-baiters have been harping on Golwalkar's writings, Babri Masjid and Gujarat riots to such an extent that even liberal-minded minorities have started feeling like orphans. What are the bare facts? First regarding RSS ideologues. What is their vision of Bharat ? The most fundamental feature of Indian philosophical tradition is freedom of the individual to discover his or her own personal God. There is only one supreme God , but for me what matters is my view, my experience . Rama or Krishna or Avalokatiswara or Christ may be good aids, but any amount of study about the mango fruit is inferior to a personal taste of the fruit. It is a blasphemy to say that RSS leaders or any true Hindu objects to Muslims and Christians practising their faith in India. What they object to is malicious proselytisation by a few elements whose main aim is getting huge funds from the West. Genuine evangelical workers have themselves decried the lack of quality in the quest for numbers. In Ayodhya/Gujarat leave it to the locals

BJP tacidly supports sangh outfits in several names which attacks churches and mangalore type bus events. BJP government in Gujarat led by RSS member burned people in 2002 with the tacid support of the system, while i agree that burning of train reulted in riots but it is the responsibility of the government to stop riots. i ask you the same question will you agree that 1984 sikh riots were people outburst over Indira killing.
BJP leaders in forum after forum calls to forget the 2002 riots as gujarat is concentraing in development, they should ask themselves why didnt they do came up the same in 1989 regarding the Babri issue.

According to me this election results are not defeat of BJP, this is the defeat of 3rd front.
Bjp done better(won more than 60%) in BJP ruled states like Karnataka, Gujarat, MP etc,
Congress gained mainly in AP, TN, WB,UP and kerala, where bjp presence is limited. People of India want stability, so they voted for congress in these states.
If TDP, BSP and AIADMK allied with BJP then they might have won this election.

I partly agree with you. BJP losses was only in Rajasthan (due to vasudhera Raje mis rule) and Delhi due to corruption from Arun Jaitely. Other than that they were better off. Now they have to correct these problems and start working from now itself. Country will get a clean and good Governace after 5 years.
according to media reports, BJP has the maximum no. of criminal mps. these nri friends of the bjp would probably be funding their crimes. this is why these fellows are so unhappy.

Maximum criminals are always welcome by SP and BSP. They hunt for criminals to give ticket. In case you are having good criminal record, apply for ticket now. You stand good chance.
I knew for sure that this author is a khaki chaddhi man.In this article he is trying to invoke sympathy for RSS & Co. and is indirectly infusing the patience to the cadres of chaddhi brigade.Hope chaddhi will perish like hitler and mussolini perished from this world.Mr. B. Raman better luck in 2014 with hopefully less chaddhis.

We should be happy or sad? Congress & BJP are the two sides of the same coin... One demolished the babri mosque and other watched from a distance without any action to stop that crime... And that lead to terrorism in the name of revenge.. But more importantly what about congress money in the swiss bank? No. of criminals in the parliament has not surprisingly increased by 20%. We the citizens of India are jacked... No matter what... Its a BJP devil or jump into the deep sea when congress comes to power...

BJP sold many performing companies in the NDA regime... They would have now sold India to Pakistan and the Jews in Israel and USA. I think Advani would prefer his good friend Jinnah more than anyone else... People wake up! A third alternative is required... Left idealogy is quite opposite to China. Left run around to close factories, where as China is power house of manufacturing. First learn some thing about left. Then preach. Left are biggest loosers.
