And I or for that matter majority of minorities will not have a problem if India were declare itself Hindu Rashtra, as long as there is no witch hunting. When you take along eveyone with you, you have balanced growth & development. When you deliberately try to create a country where 20% of minorities live as second class citizens and only the Majority Hindu prosper, the country as whole is going to fail. this 20% population will have to be either eliminated or else it becomes a load unbearable. I am glad that finally the Indian public have started thinking about the future of their country and it growth. No longer they vote on caste, religion or sectoral forces. They want a stable govt which can deliver.

Congress has won, not because they are the best. At this point of time they are the best available. Left parties sh change their ideologies to suit modern era. They cant cling on to age old dead ideologies.

Leave the religion alone. It can take care of itself. It does not require politicians.
BJP lacked a slogan. They should have taken up some major policy as an issue and took it to public. Instead Mr.Advani only critcized Mr.Manmohan Singh as an impotant Prime Minister etc.,

We should appreciate Rahul Gandhi's work in UP and Mamata Benerji in West Bengal and/or Sheila dixit,Rajesheakara reddy in Delhi and Andhra. But can you show one such leader in BJP who took up at least one state and roamed about dismatling the opposition's citadel the way Mamata did ? Mr.Modi actually did an immense damage to BJP. The progoram which he had allowed to happen in Gujarat scared Muslims all over India, to such a frightened state of mind that Muslim came out in droves to vote for Congress in every state. Under A.B.Vajpayee when BJP for the first time to power found in a secret survey that actually 25% of Muslims voted for BJP because they were disgusted with Congress politics.
Now the types of Modi simply damaged BJP as totally unacceptable party not only to Muslims and Christians but to most of the Hindus,perticularly thinking,educated middle class.
As well written by Raman, BJP wants to sell its voters the idea they don't want to buy i.e. Hindutva. Only change is constant in this universe and BJP does not want to accept this fact. I really feel bad about Mr. Advani being out of the race now. Its not because of his Hindutva policies (which I don't support) but as an Individual. He has spent whole of his life selling an Idea which people were not willing to buy. you can get emotionalsupport once or twice but in a longer term strategy should be based upon inputs from the voters, the bottom up approach. Had Mr. Advani since his young age focused on development and upliftment of whole society and as anti congress party not anti muslim or anti christian, then I am sure that he would have been the Prime Minister several times by now.

I would love to be Ruled by British, but not Indian National Congress who made me to take a decission to leave India. I am now happy that I am not in India and enjoying a very happy and quality life in abroad. I will never go back to India till there is Congress rule.

BJP was a communal Party and it will remain a communal party only. Just becasue of this reason , people like you takes part in BJP's activities. India doesnt need 40% muslim and 20% christian to wipe out such communal party. 20% minorities (muslim christian parsis and others) have shown their power to BJP in this election only. And above all educated Hinndu people have understood the communal agenda of BJP. BJP has fooled the simple and sober Hindus and other people by talking about builiding Ram Mandir.
