Iam Really glad after long time there is a decent article in rediff.I am so disapponited by the discussion board where there is so much swearing...its a shame.I am a BJP supporter,but only a part of there ideology. BJP should go more in for development and young people.Beating people celebrating V-Day is absolutely rubbish.I never liked the congress ideology of pleasing the minorities all the time, however faces like rahul and priyanka make you feel that there is still hope.I hope this government stands up to peoples expections.Will they bring back our millions of hard eraned money stashed in swiss banks??? dont think so??? gaurav
With due respect to Mr. Raman, he must have scrounged and scoured to produce these gems from the Hindutva websites. Normally these sites are full of crude material denouncing: Hindus who do not agree with their sectarian outlook, Christians, Muslims, westerners, dalits and anyone arguing for religious harmony. They are full of crudely written chauvinist comments which in civilized societies would be classified as hate speech bordering on ra8cist/ extr8emist ideas. These websites advocate religious fundamentalism, hatred, violence. They are utterly humorless, full of a sneering attitude, and are characterized by violence of language and advocacy of cruelty against dissenters. It is frightening to read the stuff written in these sites and these sites represent the terrible dumping down of human intellect. It is estimated there are about 600 of these poison-spreaders on the net and one is sure many of these must be under scanner by agencies in the West/ USA because of the nature of their content, may be.
It must have taken Mr. Raman a huge effort to sift those sensible remarks from the mount of filth available..
Election comes and go. forget defeat. hold party's moral high. the day BJP will achieve 2/3 majority INDIA will start to develop in the right way and all the citizen in the country will feel proud for their country as the Chinese feel at present. so generate young, intellegent, patriotic, ready to be in DO OR DIE mental prepareness. But please keep the party united irrespective of religion, cast, creed. But don;t appease any section of the country and today or tomorrow , i assure, there will be no power to restric BJP to form the government with 2/3rd majority.

It is not ppl of india mandate, it is vote for expoliatation of minorities & illeterate and poor ppl Many educated middle did not vote are going to heavy price in future puppet pm,president, election commissionerand congress beaure of investigation UPA had devalued ind security force, judicial and education system to exploit minority votebank perfect stage to setup jihadi prince R gandhi for next pm of islamic republic of India COngress will do anything and everythig for 29% minority votes. In other 5 more yers of upa rule, india will be islamic rebuplic and jihadi R gandhi will be PM After some days there will be serial of blasts and innocent hinduw will be butchered to fabricated sotries to please minotiry vote bank When your own ppl will be burnt alive in train, victims of bomb blast while doing shopping for festive season or doing prayer or butchered by jihadie and kicked out of locality you will realise how dangerous is congress divide and rule under secular & minority tag why minority hinuds in JK, assam, tripura, sikkim, nagaland did not get the same treatment as the minoirty muslim and xians get in rest of india that congress dirty politics under secular tag

Agree fully......No political party belonging to a particular race, cast, religion, community, region is eligible to come to center. Think for the progress of all the indians, whether, Hindu, Muslim or Christian. Wooing only one community for political gain no more work in India. Our country and its citizens have matured. Hinduism is portrayed a religion under great risk. The fact is, its the largest, strongest and stable community, and some political parties are just scaring the nation to pocket their votes...We need young leaders like Rahul, and not leaders like Varun......who belong to all Indians, and not for only Hindus or Muslims or Christians. I am proud of the verdict given by our citizens...Jai HO
RSS is a nursary and primary school for BJP. Unless RSS increases its wing-span to accomodate other faiths and modernizes itself BJP, its offshoot will remain political dark hourse.
First of all, they should bring in fresh blood with genuin national development interest in mind. Secondly, all indian muslims should be gibven full respect and education like other hindus, Thirdly, no cast and creed should be tolarated and everyone be it kayastha, brahmin, baishya, shudra, cobbler, should enjooy honour equally in the party and only quality of leadership sholdl be the criteriea. I hope, BHP can do this as I still believe that they are the only political party who loves their country India first and no other party. So please prepare the party in the right direction defeating all defections around the country and organise all nationalised (purely)country men in the party to work hard to win the next general election and make INDIA a true secular super power.
can only garner votes of uneducated backward/tribal/OBC fundamentalists in states like MP Chattisgarh Gujarat. Modi himself is an OBC. They won Karnataka only because of Yeddyurappa who is very secular.
Most educated lot like the Southern states, metros like Delhi Mumbai etc. tend to go with Congress and its allies.
Congress has also snatched the chaddee from the RSS and turned them into cavemen who will be extinct soon.
