pro-Hindutva websites

Peo-Hindutva articles keep appearing with regular frequency on Rediff - it is interesting to see that Rediff has changed sides and wants to remain neutral :)

DUBAI — Indian expatriates in Dubai, including leading entrepreneurs, expected a promising outlook for the country following the sweeping win by the Congress-led UPA government in the 2009 Indian elections after results were announced on Saturday.

Navin Kapoor, Managing of Director of Xpertize United, said that the youth factor has played a major role in this year’s results.

“There is a new young generation of MPs and the youth of India is coming as a force to reckon with. Leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Shashi Tharoor look extremely promising,” said Kapoor.

He added that the new government should consider giving the non-resident population of India voting rights, and the re-election of the UPA is good for Indian businessmen in the UAE because the Congress has traditionally been pro-business.

Dr B. R. Shetty, MD & CEO of NMC Group, said that Indian expatriates anticipate more reforms to come through, including a greater say in the election process, voting rights and representation in parliament and legislatures.

“Our voice needs to be effectively heard as we contribute to a major chunk of remittance inflows to India, and to the economic development of the country,” he said.

Neelesh Bhatnagar, the CEO of E-max Electronics, who was expecting the NDA to do better, said that the UPA’s win came as a surprise.

I am still not able to understand the mind of BJP.With the negative campaigning advocated by its campaign managers, and advisers like Kulkarni it is yet to learn a lesson though the results are too loud. They shoud develop themselves to be national leaders . It first disowned Varun Gandhi initially- very loudly Mukhtar Abbas naqvi said-its not in the culture of BJP to use the type of language used by Varun in his speech. But later the other leaders did not issue a dictum to Varun even though EC hinted at it. This the height of maturity (immaturity) BJP has shown. Wake up to national issues guys.

Shock and awe?
by KISHAN on May 17, 2009 01:56 PM  | Hide replies

There is nothing like shock at the defeat of the BJP or the success of the Congress. The people who had posted their opinions on the websites are extremely harsh in their disappointment with BJP.
1. They are right. BJP doesn't inspire Hindus more because Hindus have become more materialistic and no time for our country or religion. For them counselling is required by their parents or or other religious leaders. BJP is a political party and not a religious organisation to instil these qualities.
As far as frightening of Non-muslims is concerned, it is not BJP that is threatening them but all the secular media gagged up against BJP and created this impression in the minds of the non-Hindus.
2.As far as the youth policy is concerned, any political party whose leaders are the products of grassroot level how can you expect a young leader at the top. The leaders these bloggers mentioned are the products of dynastic politics whose contribution to the natiion is nothing except their parental lineage. I feel that this is a temporary phase and sooner than later our voters will realise the futility of voting to these "youngsters".
3. Removal of institutional bias against Hindus. Does Hindus have any right to ask for this when they don't take little pain and vote for BJP which can ensure this? Atleast Hindus should wake up now and prevent further damage to our culture and religion.

Your analysis is correct Mr.KISHAN.
Rahul, Sachin Pilot, Jyotiraditya Scindia are being over projected and popularised by the media since their late fathers represented Cong-I. How about other unknown youngesters in the Cong-I party not being projected by the media ??

Young leaders

Congress contested educated, secular and articulate young minds, like Rahul Gandhi, Sachin Pilot, Scindia, Milind deora, Naveen Jindal, priya dutt. This moved helped congress attract young voters and also confront Modi, Vanrun gandhi's hatred speeched with sensible and progressive.

Young agreed, but educated... not so sure. Rahul baba was allowed to study in IIT coz of his surname, but couldn't complete a year there... In any case all the names mentioned above are there coz of their surnames, no self made leader here.

Clear RriggginnggOf Elections via Kangress appointed CEC
Everybody who was troublesome for Congress has lost:
Left Down 50%
Mayawati's BSP: Down 50% (Even though she was expected to do extremely well)

Jayalalitha: Last time 0 this time up, but not much at all, even though expected to do well
Laloo & Paswan(Had given Congress only 3 seats): Down 70%
Shiromani Akali Dal: Down 50%

Chiranjeevi: Expected to do very well in AP, crushed

On Other hand:
AP, Kangress expected to get smashed, sweeps.
Kangress needed to get a foothold in UP, Bihar, was unthinkable earlier but again, has happened
Kangress needed to crush BJP, whereever they had established a foothold: Orissa, BJD unexpectedly sweeps
In Bihar, Nitish gets so much success, it has upset balance between him & BJP. So he will start thinking of ditching them

UPA gets close to majority AND no one suspects that its rigged.
Kangressi Channels(NDTV, CNN-IBN) are exact in exit poll predictions, everyone else is wrong (Ha!)
Chief Election Commissioner has won it for Kangress. Just like the West-Indian umpire handing cricket series over to Australia.

NET RESULT, inspite of TERROR ATTACKS, PRICE-RISE, MINORITY APPEASEMENT, by putting rubberstamps in all important positions, Kangress has won...

Kangress actually winning in UP.
Huh???
Thats a no-brainer.. Thats RIGGINNGGGG

Now Congress has moved ahead in the game by Rigging
This will one day lead to violence & civil war.

We are becoming another PAK.

It is about to begin now..

My dear friend, price rise is an INDIAN phenomenon. All through the economic crisis prices havent risen in US, UK, China etc etc.

Chiranjeevi has cult-status in AP. He got ZERO seats.
Thats clear-cut Rigging dude!!

Finally, could you care to answer my points in the original post??

This isnt just about BJP.. Congress 'handled' all leaders who could have caused them troubles.

India has to decide how long it wants to continue its slavery under one family rule? Or whether and when it should elect a professional and competant leadership.Right now in India all parties have oldies.Young leaders even in Sonia's cabinet will not get berths, except Rahul. All oldies will take ministries.See this happen in a few days.
