1. Parents of Dhoni and Haribhajan—who could give them proper upbringings 2. Media-who hype Dhoni and Haribhajan and run after them for spicy bites 3. We public—who make these undeserved cricketers feel important or fuel their justifiable egos.

ravi chandran,
Your behavior--copying and pasting other post, that too with twisting the real meaning--show your character--a person having no personal objective and goals in life. I am not surprised that you are fan of idiot like dhoni.
1. Parents of Dhoni and Haribhajan—who could not give them proper upbringings2 2. Media-who hype Dhoni and Haribhajan and run after them for spicy bites 3. We public—who make these undeserved cricketers feel important or fuel their egos.
I must say that not all cricketers are like Dhoni and Haribhajan, so we should talk of a cricketer in general.
Solution: They should be striped of Padma Shr Awards immediately and banned from playing all kind of crickets for three years to set an example so that nobody in future can dare to make mockery of Nation and the public. Also, their security personnel should be taken off immediately.

How shameful of Dhoni was it to ask for more security just after the Mumbai Attack.

The Govt. should infuture strip the Padma awardees of their awards if they fail to accept them in person unless due to some unavoidable reasons like halth or any calamity in family. It was sheer arrogance on the part of Dhoni and Bhajji not to attend the ceremony inspite of being in the city at that time. They made a mockery of the award as well as showed disrespect to the Head of the country. It is not enough for these players to simply say that it is an honour to play for our country. They should also show it in their actions by accepting such awards in person. Dhoni is supposed to be the icon of the younger generation and if this is the way he behaves, he will be a bad role model for them. The seniors like Sachin, Dravid, Kumble always accepted their awards in person and would never behave in this way. Infact they are the ideal role models for the younsters.
This is pure national disrespect and Govt of India should ban Dhoni & Bajji for consideration of any National awards. This will send a strong message to all these high profile people who think they are bigger than National Honor.

the national awards are so much politicised and that is the reason why people have lost respect in these awards.
These awards has no monetary relevance to these successful cricketers. If this had a tag of few million then they would be sitting in the front rows. But Dhoni iam ashamed. No one is permanently successful. The same crowd will boo you if you lose 2 series in succession
