indian hockey fans wil miss rasquinha
by tarika narula on Jan 27, 2008 02:11 PM

viren was the most eloquent player in the team ..it was always a pleasure watching his game..im one of his die hard fans...the way he raised his voice against the IHF some months back was commendable...he was mistreated by the association inspite of his contribution to indian hockey...indian team badly needs him.....but since he's made his decision all one can do his wish him luck and im sure he'll definitely excel at whatever he does given his determination and hard work...

Meet you @ ISB
by on Jan 16, 2008 07:09 PM

Dear Viren,

I have been your fan all through and have followed your exploits @ the international and PHL levels.

Its truly a privilege, not just for me but the rest of the class to have a student like you amidst us @ ISB for the class of 2009. I am sure you will bring incisive insights and penetrating aggregation about leadership skills and team work during class room discussions. Can't think of a better person to talk about startegy.

I eagerly look forward to meeting and interacting with you. See you @ Hyderabad in April.

Happy Learning,
Prashanth

Shame on Indian Govt and IHF
by Vinod Ahir on Jan 16, 2008 07:17 AM

I am a crazy Cricket fine like most Indian but I do love other sports like Hockey. Unfortunately the sports ministry is not doing for even a decent job for such a talented star like Viren. Well It is great to represent the country for 8 years even though you did not see any future for your life style. We Idiotic BCCI putting the money for outside Cricketers but not helping our fellow sports money. Remember BCCI money is people of India Money and they are just enjoying like they got the money in Inheritance from their parents.Wake Up India and fellow fans go to roads and stop the non sense happened in Indian sports.

May god help Indian Sports fan

Vinod
