i hate your comments... but when it comes to hockey i have to agree u... just check rajiv mishra the one man show in india's junior world cup win in milton keynes ... today is workin as TTE ....he made india win the world cup wid his sheer skills...wat he got back...even i am ashamed to be an indian hockey fan .
All the best to you Viren. You were one of India's best midfielders. I rue the fact that I will never be able to see you playing live again though I have seen some of our great talents like Govinda, Merwyn Fernandes, Dhanraj,Pargat Singh , Mohd. Shahid ,to name a few ,in their heydays. You all were truely brilliant and gave the foreigners a run for their money. All the best , once again.
good luck to you. "I would like to give something back to the game, maybe do sports management or marketing or media or all of these." don't plan too much. it may not be right for me to say something to a person who is goin to ISB. once again wish you all the BEST
i am your great fan though i was in mumbai for 10years but couldnot watch you live, now i am in hyderabad & working near to ISB so morehappy that you are coming here. all the best for new career.
This retirement is an eye opener for how the game is run and how are the returns from the game. It is a good personal decision for a man who has the ability to excel in another career.
All the best Viren. Wake up you jokers who are running the game!!! look at cricket tennis soccer basketball..... etc how they are marketed internationally.

right rajinish, its a slap on the face of hockey establishment. it was a wonderful decision, we don't want one more dhanraj pillay who after nearly spending all his life in hockey ahs to say that i don't want my kids to play hockey.
thus its better to persue the better option.
to be fair this decision coincides with one news today that army is loosing good officers moreover brighter people are reluctunt to join the army. its the same way indian army is run by incompetent people where smarter people are not tolerated by seniors.
