Anil Ambani's purported takeover has got to be good for India.i mean isn't it better to have some Indian club owner than no one at all.At least it gives an indian connection for all the epl watchers & who knows he might just give an indian a chance a.k.a. Abramovich ,even if it is as a support staff if not a player
Instaed of buying some cash rich club and increase his already millions profit, he could have invested some into Indian football, where there's alarming shortage of money. And this guy was voted Indias icon in 2005. ! Great to know such patriots exist

Sorry friend but Indians can't do in "Power sports"...bcoz we are made only for sports like cricket,golf,carrom,chess..where brain plays a major role as our food habits are mostly veggies & fried stuff...
The time has come for India to make it's prsence felt all over the world. Go get it Mr. Ambani. As for people talking about patriotism and questioning about Mr. Anil Ambani's decision to buy the club instead of doing something for Indian sports, i'd only say this much. "WHY DON'T YOU GUYS LOOKING AROUND YOU AND YOUR PLACES, IM SURE THERE ARE LOTS OF HUNGRY AND UNCLOTHED PEOPLE. WHY DON'T YOU FEED AND CLOTHE THEM. I GUESS CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME." TIME FOR INTROSPECTION BEFORE POINTING FINGER AT OTHERS.
Indians are not wired genetically to play soccer as football requires a lot of strength and stamina which the Indians lack unlike Cricket u cannot stand in a place in the field and only run when the ball is coming nearer you, in football u have to run continously. Indians can do well in soccer if they are genetically mutated.

absolutely right no need to be a gene expert..even in Tennis we suffer eg:Vijay amritraj's son lives in US plays for India as he is not accepted to play for US as he has tremendous competition from strong women sorry men ha ha
Although Anil is a businessman and he may take 1 or 2 extremely talented Indian players to play for his team and give him exposure which will be good for Indian football. It is very important to know that only Baichung Bhutia got a chance to play for a B-Grade English football club and thats for only 1 month on a trial basis!!! So it will be a biggest opportunity for any Indian football player to play for a Premier English football club which will give tremendous boost to Indian Football!!
