I agree to this Jeevan.. U r right in saying that he could do something for Indian Football..
But to be frank, Russia is already a footballing nation, so buying out NEWCASTLE might just be the one step that we are looking for the growth in Indian football..
Most of the English clubs are owned by foreigners. Chelsea-Abramovich(Russian),Man Utd-Glazer family(USA), Man City - Thakshin S(Thailand), so now it would be wonderful to see Newcastle Utd owned by Anil Ambani(Indian). Go for it,wish you all the best.You surely have the money to take this club to Champions league with Michael Owen at the helm.

Don't confuse people. they are rich because of their asset.. and sachin and akshay getting paid for their job. and they need to pay tax.. realiance as a business pay a huge tax to india. And its bread and butter for a lot many people..We need industrialist like him.. we need job..let them invest.. let them do what ever they want.. i think you are close relative to CPM leader Prkash Karat ..:)

And why should he do that if people are willing to pay for it? If you get a better deal then please switch. When lot of people like you switch Reliance will automatically reduce prices to stay competitive. But please dont beg Ambanis to subsidize your energy costs.

Good point Gopal. Debo is a Moron, unaware that there is MONOPOLY in the power sector in Mumbai. Even if we want to, we cannot get BEST power in the suburbs. Or else people wud've shifted years ago. More so, both BEST and Reliance BUY power from the same source - TATA. People don't switch coz they are not allowed to. And ppl are not BEGGING for cheaper (not subsidised) power, they are DEMANDING.
