Tell me one thing....how many people would be employed in a car factory?? What will happen to the farmers whose land are gone ? Will they find employment ? Tata requires an area 6 times that of maruti's Gurgao plant with 6 times more land ... What will happen in the rest of the land...May be used as real estate for the tata's...
What did Salim Group did in indonesia?? It finished the indonesian communists and is under prosecution there , and here communists are supporting him !!!.....Now he wants to open a chemical hub in nandigram....Is it known that chemical hubs are banned in European Countries the so called "developed nations".
Sulphuric acid is so toxic it is not produced by any of the developed countries but in haldia it is only made....Is it sufficient or I need to write more...I can write a few more pages if u insist....

PLZ NOTE ..MARUTI doesnt hv a closed complex of ancilliaries which TATA's are planning...if u put all d ancilliaries into account ..MARUTI has more dan double ...wat TATA wud get... One more thing i must say.generating employment for 8000 - 10,000(at most) the tatas are taking 997 acres of multicropped land.Do you have any idea how many people they would be making unemployed?

well,Allen,I have a relative who works for Hyundai.(I hope you would consider as an expert).
To produce 5 lacs vehicle a year one would require not more than 8,000 wrokers(Your estimation was wrong in the very first place).Secondly, what ancillery units are you talking about exactly?Have the Tatas cleared mentioned the details anywhere?Have they quantifiesd the number of people exactly who would be getting jobs in those industries? How much land exactly(in quantitaive terms) would they erquire for each ancillery units?

If you have these answers please clarify them first .Or else admit that you are ignorent too.

The left party and Budhdha
by abby Das on Mar 19, 2007 04:58 PM

This leftist party once agitated against computers, agitated against english language. The same party is today becoming the slave of industrialists, calling the IT sectors where both computers and english are needed. This party is only capable of doing "Secret Trade" to fill up their own pockets and when they face any opposition they just know to shoot and kill people. That is the reason till today the killer of Tuhin samanto still roaming free.

Sincere request to you NOT to resign. You are the first among so many to take the issue of all round development of West Bengal in your stride and we are proud of you. We know you live in a small apartment and you do not ENJOY the THRONE as some people want us to believe. The whole issue of Singoor and Nandigram is the brainchild of a handful of people involved in every possible nefarious activity they can manage to perform to tarnish the image of the CPI-M led government and in particular you. They are afraid of the popularity of the government and you and will leave no stone unturned to tarnish the state's image to others. The ulterior motive is to gain some more seats in the next elections. People realize this and they will ensure there will be no TC members in the next state assembly. Please continue with your developmental work for the state.

Development or destruction? After so many deaths you still can't see destruction?(Actually none of your own have died). In Singur case the only point was "Secret Trdae" where Nirupom Sen was also a partner of our HONEST CM.and how can you say about popularity when the opposition gets 49.6% votes while the CPM party alone doesn't even get 40% votes and you speak about popularity?

well we would like to be optimist than be pessimist..in the last 7 years we have seen Kolkata and Bengal developing..though we condemn the death of farmers in Nandigram we cannot take credit of resurggent bengal from Buddhadev..and we still have faith in him..he is genuinely working for the development of the state..all these talk of "blood in the hands " etc crap are just romantic word of intellectuals who have just debated over years as what needs to be done and never done anything..no wonder bengal is lagging today..these ppl feel that a farmers son wants to be a farmer..plz understand..if Bengal has to develop we need Buddhadeb.

Thank you for answering me.You said in last 7 years you have seen Kolkata Developing.Do you have any idea how many tea gardens closed donw in the last 7 years? Why still people at Amlashol dies of Hunger during the last 7 years?

Why Police has become so desperate that a OC can shoot a citizen and still roam free? This happened during last 7 months(not years) and our CM forgets his own words "Do it now".He says 96% of farmers of singur has given their land willingly while the Govt could only give documents of 30% willing farmers.(This is within last 7 months, not 7 years). The court ordered during book fair that the Govt tried all means to make farud to keep the book fair at the maidan.(This is also during the last 7 months).Do you still want our CM to stay and let the court harras him for all his lies?If he has got self respect then he should leave by his own immidiately.

These situations are just the tip of the iceberg. In every street and every town, every village and every hamlet of West Bengal, freedom is being raped by the Police-Party-Promoter coalition. The said development of the last few years are nothing but some real estate sharks making money. West Bengal has crores of unemployed poeple and beggars, all due to false policies of CPM. Whatever happening today is just a method of excating contracts out of massive real estate operation by some mafias and arraneging cut-money for the CPM leaders and their families. Buddha is a head strong person at his core. He is not fit for running a large and varied populace. He must go.

A CM who lies left and right should resign for just that reson only. When Mr Binoy Kongar thretened to make the life of people in Nandigram "Hell" this useless CM did not react. It was well anticipated what Mr Binoy Kongar wanted. Our CM said in TV channel that "There would be no policing in Nandigram" and after that ordered the police to be the cause of so many deaths. He is the greatest shame of our state.

BUDHHA SHOULD STAY

Yes nandigram is a deplorable incident but that doesnot mean he will have to resign and industrialization has to stop, only to satisfy some marxist hardliners and some stupid intellectuals who have done nothing for Bengal. The industrialization should continue and BUDDHA is doing the right thing.

For the last few years West Bengal has been lagging behind as because of Industry. Now Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee is trying to do somthing for West Bengal which seems a lot more pressure for other ruling parties. Mamata on the other hand has done nothing for West Bengal except aggitation and number of Bandh's . So, Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee must go on with his plan which he dreams for his state.

West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee should accept moral responsibility for the andigram violence and quit. "In the eyes of the law, those who committed the crime are criminals and those who abetted it are also criminals. Chief Minister had sent the police and party cadres to Nandigram and ordered them to fire. You are behind the operation and you also ordered the arrests. You have taken the responsibility for the incident. The case has been proven against you. You must resign. If you do not, not only Bengal but the whole world will condemn you,"

At least ten Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) workers have been arrested and illegal arms seized after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) started its investigation into the causes behind the violence on the orders of the Calcutta High Court.

Well, caring and developing for the state is no harm. We all seen it past 30 years that there wass no Industry in Bengal but this Chief Minister is fighting all odds to make Bengal an Industrial hub. Other Political Parties dosen't want Bengal to rise. People are made fool in the name of land grabbing. The deaths occur due to the opposition party and not by our chief Minister's decision. So, if you want Bengal to rise, we have to support our Chief Minister. Opposition terming our Chief Minister as "Narendra Modi" dude.. did Narendra Modi took a respnsibility to himself after the deadly Gujrat Riots. The answer is "NO". But our Chief Minister accepted his mistakes n Nandigram. He is not killing people in the name of religion, well even people are killed.. only the media and opposition making it hue and cry.
Long Live Buddhadeb Bhattacharjeee.

Dear Mr Rajat Basu,
I appreciate your comment that Ms Mamata Banerjee is not protesting in the right manner, but please do not forget that Bengal the darling of industry in the 1960s have been systematically put into the back seat by the likes of patriach Jyoti Basu and his communist friends. Mr Bhattachrya is trying to get the act together the rut is so deep that it will take a few 30 years to come out of it.
The only concern that I have is Bengal is trying to bulldoze things, which can be also obtained very amicably with the poor farmers being paid the right price.
