Really congress culture is very poor.After having Democracy since last 53years they r not coming out from Nehru -Gandhivad.Unnecessarily praising Lady like Sonia for no Reason.
Of course there is tremendous power in a Prime Ministers hand but those who do not know how to use the power can only make the situation worse, not only for the country but also for themselves. I think Ms Sonia should first take some other ministry or watch closely the working and the system of all ministries, this time. Doing road show saying we are Seculiar party and telling people that we are the party who brought Independence to the country for the sake of getting votes is different and leading the whole nation with the existing system is different. I think Ms Sonia Gandhi has taken the right decisoin for her career, for india's future and for the image of Nehru family (being memeber which is the eligibility criteria for becoming the leader of one of the National parties and hence PM also, so far).
Hope my comment doesn't hurt anybody's personal feeling. I am so far in the process of making my views and am not inclined to any of the parties and their idealogy, except the growth and development of the nation.

this in reply to what Mr.Singh said.As far as political strategies are concerned than the sangha parivar I suppose is the worst because being Indian and that to in politics they all must be aware that if a foreign women marries an Indian then she according to our indian constitution becomes an India let she be from any country, but still before being an italian or an Indian she a Person in deed who is striving for her nation which people of sang parivar are not liking and she has gained popularity amoungst mass. And as we all know India is a Democratic country people matter more than any one else so was decision of the people as the elected the congress men as they are having imense faith in Her. And as far as unnessary popularity as you said Mr.Singh it was the same Nehru Gandhi parivar who brought nation up when she was really in need of that is the time after Independence and the sangh parivar had just to decorate the "bani banayee cake" I feel. Mr.Singh although ever person has his or her point of view but we must never forget that a good deed is always good let it be done by anyone.
The mesaage board provides a forum to people to come with below the belt comments(her sacrifice not beinf a sacrifice). Critics and diehard supporters of the BJP should understand that whatever be th reasons behind her turning down the post of PM, it has been decision whose political ramifications have hit the BJP and Sonias detractors(read sushma n uma) a severe blow. 1. the BJP is left with no issue as of now. 2. Sonias popularity has touched sky high. 3. By making Manmohan the PM it has touched a soft corner in the Sikh community. So stunned is the BJP that its leaders have not come out with any reaction official or unofficial n will need a chintan baithak to come out with a reaction. People who call her Gungee Gudiya have come to know that the gudiya dosent shoot off her mouth but lets her actions speak. Narendra modi has a lesson or two to pick up from her.
Its really a very indepth analysis of the political scenes of the past which clearly indiates the reasons behind the scenes happened for the last tow days in our TV screens.
Certainly, Mrs. sonia's denial has been really a surprise not only to india but to the entire world i suppose.
I really salute the great Madam for her clear and firm decision she took under immense pressure.
This is really going to be a blackhorse for those people who has campigned Mrs.Gandhi's foriegn origin as the main issue.
I think the whole of India should be proud of Mrs Gandhi. She has taught a valuable lessons to all our power crazy politicians. She truly will take Congress to great heights and simply finish off BJP before the next elections.
