Mr G K Gokhale is absolutely right. Whatever Sonia Gandhi did will help her to widen the base of her party in many of the lost states including UP and help her children to achieve their so called political destiny
I congratulate Mr. Gokhale for his immensly readable article. Without being cynical or high-sounding, he has skillfully analyzed why Mrs. Sonia Gandhi said 'no' to the PM's post.

I think Constitutionally there has been some problem, that she could not be PM. She herself was happy and beaming with coterie in the first few days before meeting Preseident and after that the face showed the reaction and disappointment.
It is not calculated decision or engineering. Just fate. And let Congressmen not look at Dynasty any mor but meritocracy!!!!
As the verdict of poll was not clearly in favour of Congress party. So, Sonia Ghandhi's step show that She carry's respect for people verdict and also clearly sends the message that she is not taking the benifit of situation.
Mrs. Sonia Gandhi has done a magnificent sacrifice. At least now BJP leaders should learn some democratic rules and etiquittes and behave properly. In fact leaders of no other political party talk venoumously like section of BJP leaders. This country is a great country and Mahathma Gandhi is still our father of the nation.
Sorry, I have to pitty u people for not seeing the clear reasons behind all this drama. U people will sele the India to ne1, with out reialsing the future.
