Ever since Oscars,Rahman is grossly overrated and has become overconfident that whatever he dishes out in the name of music, people will accept and praise it. Time for a reality check for Mr.Rahman

oscar was a luck and the song is not of oscar quality. And ARR is not a great, Ilayaraj recently challenged that The Keyboard players are not composers. ITs a Shame on ARR and ofcourse yuvan shankar who is son of Raja Sir

Allah does not help you Sir, A.R.R. Show some contribution from your side sir at least once in a while. Good for India that atleast one man was brave and sensible enough to ask for the this. We have seen this stupid composer being lauded and pampered for no contribution of his. Music is not about Allah giving it to for for free Sir. Not every chance would be like the one , where got those two yellow dolls. Sir , A.R.R. Wining should be a habit and not by chance or luck. Better sit at home and do assingments and pray allah for some extra tunes....... ahhahahahahahahha...The only country that insulted MOZART was India by calling this stupid Good for nothing composer as Mozart. for Endhiran, the lyrics sucks in both versions of Tamil and Hindi...In tamil except Irumblie oru Idhayam and Arima, the remaining ones are really plastic..the songs to lose its potency after one month of hearing..already happenned in the tamil version..
Blame the lyricist not the maestro But i repeat for a mental film this music is more than suffice..

enthiran songs and movie rocks and created history in indian cinema, v should appriciate creaters, r else v hav to create something and show.
I detest the condescending attitude that some north Indians have towards the south Indians referring to us as "Madhrasees", I feel the author suffers from this attitude too.

well said... this idiot needs to understand that lower half of india is not "chennai", and ar rahman is not a "southie" artist dammit... while the hindi superstar AB is hailed as BigB and the "Indian" superstar of alltime, these biased r0gues conveniently forget greats in other film industries...hindi is just another language, and is hindi speaking public alone is not India... and I am not a tamil, i hail from kerala... i have seen this attitude from northies like "u r a mallu"...

Rehman is not at his best in Enthiran.Nor the lyricists. But Rajanikanth's movie songs need to be for the mass audience and not aimed at winning Oscars.Meanwhile Sumit Bhattacharya need to offer his morning prayers looking at the South direction since in the last decade no Hindi movie had songs as good as Dil Se or Roja or Rangeela in terms of class.Even Lagaan & Jodha Akbar had a certain element of class.In terms of other areas of film technology (Sabu Cyril, Santosh Sivan, PC Sriram, Ravi K Chandran, Thotta Tharani, Resul Pookutty)I am sure South rules. Its a fact. Its time Bollywood comes out of showcasing family marriages, serial kissing & make quality movies.I am sure the talented ones like Anurag Kashyap,Vishal bhardwaj are welcomed in South & people watch their movies. Not discard them.
