This seems to be good movie with a different story - reverse cycle of a mankind. I prefer this movie to get more awards except for the musical score award - wherein i support ARR.

Thank u Director for showing that THE PARTY WHICH RULED FOR 60 YEARS after independence has done nothing for this country.

I advise u to also make a film on Japan and
show the world what progress Japanese have made in just 35 years.

representative of India, this movie sure has opened a pandora's box. It is astonishing that well known commentators in Entertainment and Media attempt to denounce an otherwise brilliant work of art.
To Amitabh and Arnab - Just in case you have not kept abreast of the statistics about the state of India, here are some indicators.
More than 78% of India's population still lives with an income of less than $2 a day. That is a whopping 780 million plus people.
In the human development Index, there are only countries in sub saharan Africa and a handful in Indian subcontinent that rank below

Apart from the slum controversy,Goa wing of a Hindu fundamentlist group has found some anti-hindu traces in the movie...isn't this turning out to be a fiasco ??

Not SM, SC...the dubbed hindi version is releasing commercially like any other hindi movie tomorrow. Its called Slumdog Crorepati.
