the jury was stupid enough to send such junk and that the submission even merits a mention is crazy. it was never in the race by the way.
oscars is a good way of letting the west know our talent. it's not like winning oscars is driving our film industry. but the choice has to be made with better care and not some popular vote by some 10 people somewhere. the jury is clearly biased. we saw them bickering over the choice. if 10 people can't decide on the submission how can it be construed to be the representative of the country's best?
Last year also India sent a stupid movie 'Paheli' and this year another stupid movie 'Ek Lavya'. I think team of Jury need to see Psychiatric. Paagal ho gaye hey ! Gadhe kahi ke.
stupid morons are going to send brainless and useless Om Shanti Om for oscars next year. and after that oscars will stop taking entries from India. Please send Farah Khan to jail for maknig such pathetic movies. she is absolutley good for nothing
yaar pehle ye batao is picture ko bheja kisne sharam nahin aati kya aisi picture ko oscar main bhej rahe ho jisko india main bhi kisi ne nahin dekha. aur bahar kyon izzat kharab kar rahe ho are isse achchi to partner ko hi bhej dete kam se kam bahar wale poori picture dekhto lete.yaar aur nahin to raam gopal verma ki aag ko hi bhej dete,yaar ye eklavya hi mili thi yaar in judges ko change karo picture dekhte hain nahin paisa laga hai to bhej do oscar.but the people ther eare more intelligent than our judges.jo picture hamare judges ne select ki out of so many good movies unhone list main hi include nahin ki sharam aani chahiye hamare judges ko kisi bhi picture ko utha ke bhej dete hain.they dont even understand that its a matter of emotions of crores of people.

you are right. They should sack the judges who sent this third rate movie for the Oscar nomination. I don't think that they have any idea of the Oscar platform.

are yaar agar koi bevkoof bhi is picture ko dekhta to to aadhi picture dekh ke hi bahar nikal aata aur inhone poori picture hi bhej di performances dekho makeup dekho sab nakli lag raha hai movie main . inko main abhi kya bolon har baar har ke aate hain aur har saaal ek masterpeace eklavya jaisa bhej dete hain.yaar agar thoda sa dimag use karlenege to kam se kam picture aisi to bhejo jo un logon ko samajh main aaye i think rang da basanti was very gud movie and movies like munna bhai also the have some issues to discuss yaar eklavya.dump movie dump dump dump

Jo picture des mein ek haftha bhi nahin chala, usko Oscar kyon dega koi? Kya america ke judges pagal hai?
and eklavya getting out of the race proves it.. does the author mean to say that since eklavya (a non deserving) got out of race in round 1 every other movie would have.. it seems the author believe content of a movie is immaterial...
