Is ekalvya deserved even for being considered for OSCAR?
There are so many Indian movies ( Hindi aswell as regional languages), with stories which touch the heart, realistic , which make sensible viewers glued to the seat, Which really represents the intellectual superiority in Simplicity, Traditional values, Relations.
Had we sent a better-made, more watchable film rather than one of the films where a ludicrous Mr. Srivastava (aka AB) hams as he has been doing for the last 2 decades without the slightest semblance of authentic role-playing or good acting, we would have made it to the shortlist probably. Its about time Mr. Srivastava Sr. along with his hangers-on, camp followers & acolytes is given a quiet burial cinematically.

u are the most perplexed and crap person than any other. Only a insane or stupid khan follower can write such about the Star of the Millenium. Even in post 60s acting of the AB is enviable for actors like SRK, Sallu, Hrithik. AB is the biggest actor of the universe...

The jury was bias in India as they should have sent KANK or DON-2 to oscars at least we would have got nominated in best foreign film category. But i can challenge with any one if we send OSO this year we will definetely get 4 awards:- Best Film:- OSO & only OSO Best Actor:- SRK the king of Bollywood Best Actress:- Deepika (Padukone) Best Director:- none other than the great Farah Khan

u have lost your temper, sanity & all.. OSO was a cheap entertainer..n SRK king???? AB is always the King of bollywood and far excellant in tems of acting to SRK. SRK is such a crap who employed popularity gimmics such as copying the Sheheshah(AB) and selling the movies from cricket matches to reality shows. In eklavya too acting of the Don was a benchmark for actors like SRK but there was nothing special in it other than BiG B's acting.

ha ha ha ha. By the way best foreign language film ke alawa baki koi category hai hi nahi. Haa agat best crap movie ka award ho to jarur oso ko hi milega. kamal ka dhakkan hai yaar tu, tere ghar wale kaise jhelte hain tujhe??

Hi all, I still cant understand the reason why people are lamenting aoo much about Indian films not getting an Oscar. Oscar is a USA media hype and they give awards to different genre of films. Indian films are more based on entertainment value ,dance, music etc. which jury considers as TRASH. I dont blame them because all of them are mostly foreign based. Ultimately, OUR films are different. Their films are different. Who are OScar-people to certify our films?If we get an Oscar. its OK. But there's no point in lamenting sooo much about this topic ... What do u all feel? ---Manju

Sorry Yogesh. Oscar don't have best crap film award category. bad luck srk :D
as the name suggests, its 'best phoren film' category. so its obvious that only phoren films will be nominated, not indian films.
PS: Eklavya?? who are we kidding? the oscar committee is better advised to explore regional movies next time, given the utterly gross faeces that bollywood routinely generates

National Award is a far-fetched dream for Ekalavya. It will not even get an award in the hundreds of award ceremonies which will be conducted shortly.
