Rediff - You are either clairvoyants or you know something the rest of the world does not!! When were the Oscar nominations annouced?? As per the website, the announcement would take place on Jan 22nd, a week away. Where did you see this list of foreign film nominations? I am obviously missing something!!
all bollywood people should protest... Dharna.. danga fasad.. apeal to court that why our movies alaways got rejected from oscar.. it is racism etc etc etc..

Well wait till u see it, then maybe u will cange ur mind! I really didn't get what the acual point of the film was. I mean was it supposed to be a big deal that Amitabh was Saif's real dad? Cos Saif sure as hell didn't seem that bothered, so why should we care??? Abh tak samaj mein nahin ayaa iss film ka point kya tha....
Wow, Eklavya out of Oscar race??? Now who would have guessed that?! Oh my god I am soooooo surprised and shocked! NOT!!!!!! Duhhhh...it wasn't even IN the race in the first place...not seriously anyway, hardly a serious contender...so this is not exactly earth-shattering news. (Then again maybe it is for Rediff.)

if i was in the oscar jury i would have taken out eklavya as well.. good that it got out.. it shows there is justice in the world
I m glad that its out of Oscar... So whats the big deal!!! No wonder its out bcoz i wondered how was the movie qualified for it... There were tons of movies better than Ek Lavya... One would have all refreshment stuffs and still would sleep, horrible movie

you are right and the difference in sensibilities is that we send movies based on who knows whom better whereas others send based on content.. i wish we could bribe everywhere in the world we would be full of oscars.. but we always have filmfare awards to buy..
