Voice of India, Star Ishmeet Singh died in Maldives.Ishmeet Singh 18, has died after drowning in the swimming pool, of his hotel Chaaya Island Dhonveli today. The famous indian singer arrived in Male' this morning, to perform in the Star Voice of Maldives, short to be held on 1st August. He also participated in the Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar Show on Star Channel. He is a popular contestant of Star voice of India, and has many fans, in India and Maldives, and abroad.
Many people in this forum have gone beyond VOI results and actually commentted that Sikhs are Hindus.First of all this is not the topic here but still anyone needs explaination who Sikhs are please go to nearest Historical Gurdwara and read Guru's word.Only the dictats for Guru Granth Sahib can define a Sikh and it clearly says " Na Hum Hindu Na Mulamaan". So this should end the curiosity of comments by the likes of "neeraj sharma' on this forum.

Mr. Singh, I never referred to VOI anyways !! but just wanted to clarify your doubts !! if you have somewhere read ki na tum hindu ho na musalman then let me tell you in case you feel you hold a different identity then please come out of this euphoria !! cos you are recognised only bcos you are an indian and this holds true for all religions existing in india !! and ppl like you who wish to call yourself a sikh or hindu first are the biggest losers !! you do not have any identity of your own so let india not disown you !! a sincere request ... do not try to split this nation into hindus musalmans or sikhs !! i hope you got it !! so better start calling yourself an INDIAN now !!

hey man juss let me knw y u ppl are being communalist just for this voi.. just telll me one thing ,wen prashant won indian idol ,he had support only from north -east.. most ppl from rest of india voted for amit.. but there was no hype about it.. but wen ishmeet has won with the help of north zone,u ppl hav created a mess out of it.. isnt this a communalism..isnt ishmeet an indian like prashant.. the thing is our community is always disregarded by others so we have to cm up with smthin to save our respect and regard.. and juss shut the hell up by pretending a true indian..if u wuld have been one ,u wuld not hav inculcated urself in these talks

Sharma ji. First read my response to your comements. I said all Indian born Sikhs are Indians. You are the one who was preaching on this forum that Sikhs are Hindus. Who gave you this authority to declare people who they are. India is nation with variety of cultures and religions. This variety is It's strength as a Garden can have flowers of different kind but still are part of the same graden. Also, re-read my comment above. It does not refer to India it refer to your comments on the forum that Sikhs are Hindus. My point is that anyone born in Indian is Indian. He or She doen not need to be Hindu. And that is what our constitution says. Your are trying twist the matter.
Every thing is cristal clear that it is a money game ,when judges were not happy with the result then why voting system was not stoped even judges are there because of money 5laks for each judge (Fees).If every thing is for money then what is real about this realty show just a drama,and the people who are fighting for other contestants how many votes you have voted for them not a single one then why you are shouting for the results .if you are so affected by the result then where were you at the time of voting.So no need to to comment on others success or failure just think about you ant what you can do.
We should ask the goverment to avoid such kinds of reality shows, which divides the country into states. Like Gajendar did it by bringingVOI and followed the British Policy -Divide and Rule. He divided the country in different zones and made money for himself, by fooling innocent people of India.
I had heard about hatred among Indians on web. So I dared to go on internet today, man I was surprised. To my surprise I even got involved. If this is what it means to be a VOI, Please revisit your rules.....I know for a common person India and other countries mean what the economic conditions and contracts are. After reading all on VOI...where do I fit in. Does it mean who has the smartest politicians? I know for sure Punjab doesn't. I am a Sikh. My interpretation of Sikhism is I was made to be a Sikh to save Hinduism. The history has proved it. What changed? Why can't the rest of India encourage Sikhs, Gurkhas and Marhatas to be what they are good at giving them due share of Indian Prosperity given to them by the West. Having done that let them enjoy their way of life without making fun of them especially in movies and serials. Don't you think after 1984 riots, Sikhs need to be left alone. They are minority and minority is always at the mercy of majority in a civilised way of life. I am very sad, very very sad. A micky mouse project like VOI has brought what the real India is???? May be all other Provinces used as States for the advantage of definition where it suits the Indian Government....My be it should United States of East America to be politically correct....I hope I don't get into trouble for being outspoken. You know India........sighned VERY SAD
