Definitely Ishmeet is not a good singer. The fact that he is not trained is evident from his singing as his voice is shaky. harshid deserved to win as he has the voice that bollywood needs. he is trained and has a steady voice. ishmeet won only becoz of SMS. in fact ishmeet does not deserve to go beyond top 12. the finale wud have been more interesting if toshi or abhas was there becoz both are superb and classically trained. also, i am surprised how abhilasha got an award when sumitra was more deserving. i guess there is no value for real talent. also, shame on the programme for continously talking about religion and chanting of religion slogans. everything in this world is just MONEY BUSINESS !!!

Totally agreeing with you Aabhas, Irfan, Toshi, Abhilasha, Priyani and Ashpreet are excellent singers. When they sing the audiences are mesmerized which never happend whenever Ishmeet sang. He is not even fit to be the slippers of their feet. Even Harshit's talent has been insulted becoz he got a competitor called ishmeet who was the least deserving candidate. All these reality shows are farce, the real talent leaves and the not so good ones remain.
To all the critics who are crying about Ishmeet's victory as biased, regional and religion. Just look deep into your hearts and then tell the truth. If there is India, Australia match- Would you support Australian team which is far better than Indian team in terms of talent. or would you support Indian team being Indian.
If Ishmeet had a dedicated fan following then deserves to win no matter if fand were Punjabi, Gujrati or Mahrashtrian. The format was clear from day one that VOI would be based on voting.
Now coming to talent - If Ishmeet has no talent then why on earth the judges took him in bemisal 12. Why Madhuri Dixit gave Ishmit an edge in the final over Harshit, she clearly mentioned that Ishmeet sang better than Harshit.
I myself feel that among all the contestants Irfan was the most versatile singer, while each of the others had their own unique points.
None of you critics came out when the judges insulted Ishmeet and Punjabis time and again. None of you had the courage to say that judges were biased and against Ishmeet.
Please stop this nonsense talk of regionalism and religion. All of you are biased to the core of your heart. Just start a discussion on Rajnikant and Amitabh and you will realise the real Indian within us as the forum would become a battle groung between North and South Indians.
Dear critics please stop crying and accept Ishmeet as winner with grace. You should have voted for your VOI if you were really bothered.

On your comment on Madhuri, I heard her humming on the stage yesterday. She is an established artist with a beautiful voice and an outstanding dancer. For your kind information I am not from UP. If you talk about the best among 12, it was Toshi. He was uncomparable. He should have been in the final. If you remember the episode when Toshi got eliminated, all the judges were upset and even Gajji. Wild card entry came into picture to bring Toshi back. Let me also tell you that I am not from Rajasthan also. I was sincerely supporting the best singer. If you take my opinion Sumitra also deserves the place in final. So let me tell you again Ishmeet nowhere stands. He deserves the bottom place in top 12 and should have been eliminated in the first 2 weeks itself. So please shut your mouth and accept the fact.

Dear friend I would not address you as True Indian cause I feel you do not reflect that. A true Indian would be respectful while still being disagreeable. "Shut your mouth", can be used by two people one who are arrogant and other who are intoreable. You need to respect others while still being disagreeable.
Atleast one thing is clear from your post that you feel that even Harshit was not worthy to be in the final. I would have appreciated if you could have made a clear statement on that.
I appreciate that you feel Toshi is the best and I respect you for that, as I also consider his the best in classical genre. So you can understand that there can be differnce in opinions, I say Irfan, you say Toshi but the jurry award went for Abhas another good singer. You may say Shahrukh is the best and I would say Anil Kapoor is miles ahead of him in terms of acting. Its not necessary that if people do not agree to your opinion they have to shut their mouths.
If people like you had voted for Toshi he would have been winner but alas! you are blaming supporters of Ishmeet rather than yourself. This is India and people have right to vote for their choice, and if only punjabis voted for Ishmeet did punjabis stopped rest of India to vote for Harshit. Man see the Punjab episode of VOI and see how they cheered and supported Harshit. If you are true Indian then stop this anti - punjabi propoganda. Ask the producers of these programmes to take away the voting part from the programs.

Thanks. I totally agree with you, for that matter I supported and voted for Irfan. Kindly refer to my origial post where I have clearly mentioned Irfan as the winner. To be frank the reason for my biased approach and for that matter most of the punjabis has been the way Ishmeet was treated by the judges. I tell you frankly if that sort of remarks had been targeted against another community there would have been riots. The punjabis simply responded by voting. From day one this program has been encouraging regionalism - Shaan always appealed to the people based on State. Let us start a campaign against these programs which promote regionalism rather than wasting energies on anti-punjabi and anti Ishmeet propoganda. Being a punjabi it hurts to read these sort of comments.

Hi, Harshit you are the REAL winner! Actually the whole competition with you against Ishmeet was wrong itself as he can hardly sing a nursery rhyme, and was basically purchasing this title by taking money from so many Punjabi homes. He's the cry baby, first he should come out from his mom's lap, and then think about being a singer. SVOI did not select a male voice or a female voice- it selected a mix, as Ismeet's voice is not counted in a male voice or a female voice. Ganjender Singh just made money for himself, by telecasting such kind of shows, where voting is everything- this is a more "sophisticated" style of begging. If it was a real talent show, Ishmeet should not even be selected in the final 12, and Abhijeet was very right in his opinion. But don't worry Harshit, you will get success very quickly. After a few years, you will be on such great a height of success, that Ishmeet can never reach. He has lost his self respect with this title. And when he marries, he should openly put himself in the market. All the best to you Harshit!

Totally agree with u. there is an unhealthy nexus going on between the channels are the mobile companies and as a result the real talent leaves and the not so good ones like Ishmeet wins the crown. Its horrible and its totally biased and SMS is not the criteria to judge talent as I feel a talent is getting insulted more than getting laurels.

Very true! this SMS system is an unhealthy system to judge true talent becoz here an unhealthy nexus is going on between the channels and the mobile companies to rake in moolah for themselves, i.e, to make money for themselves.
