The message says that Periyar family (though not a Brahmin) has treated some people as outcasts. It is also clear whole lot of Hindus treated some people as untouchable. In that case, Periyar should have directly attacked the problem. Instead, why did he target at Brahmin? Why did he target the Hindu religion and Hindu god? Why did he tried an indirect and round-about way to attack the problem? Did he try to attack the problem or the person?
Any such approach for the problem would have created anti-hindu and anti-brahmin feeling. That is exactly is the scene now.

if you dont look at all the good causes he fought for and the results of it,
if you only look at the faults of a human being, then you wont have LEGEND.

Can some one answer this, Agreed that you cannot call a dalit as a DALIT its wrong to use a caste name to address a person. If that is the case hwy are Brahmins called brahmins and pappan etc? Is that correct. See this shows the hypocrite mentality of people they use the caste name when it suits them. Use the caste name in applications to get free everything at the same time call it deplorable to use the caste name. On the other hand call a certain sect of people by their caste name to gain mileage. Wow Hail this double standard hypocrite people

All teh discrimination is done by BC's (Thevars, Nadras, Gounders), so will you raise your voice againt them? I dare you too, as they will shove your pea sized brain in your giant sized ass. Also, try setting up a business (does not matter if you are a Bhramin or a Dalit) in Gounder dominated areas (Coimbatore, Tiruppur) or Nadar dominated areas (Nagecoil), you will have your butt kicked and sent back. I AM A Scheduled Tribe and i feel that Periyar wnted to create more discrimination based on religion.Periyar would have led only to the pathal lok. He is a saddist. And u know, why ARE LEADERS OF DRAVIDAR KAZHAGAM GARLANDING HIM WITH FLOWERS KNOWING THAT GARLANDING IS A HINDU Tradition!!! . He wanted to destroy Tamil. He even GARLANDED LORD RAMA WITH SLIPPERS!!!! He didnt change his name of RAMASAMY. I could say proudly that he was a man who was keen for girls in his 60's. Fool... Damn it. And now MK is taking Temple"s money and using for his partys promotion. Is there any temple in good condition in tamilnadu , known for beautiful temples.
