AAMIR shud improve his acting! and i hope this film is a hit!but AAMIR is bad at emotional,serious roles. VIVEK oberoi is best at everything,including action and romance. sad that he is never given credit by media.

There's nothing to laugh. Vivek Oberoi is a very fine actor, and he indeed is given a raw deal by the media. But of course, Aamir is a spendid actor himself-I cannot think of anyone acting out the song "Chaand Sifarish" better than Aamir Khan. Surekha Tenneti Venugopal

The reason is giving u the above details....
if u utilize your own vivek, then u analysis what u hv done in an innocent manner...
Aamir is knowing for his seriousness, a kind of acting, which rarely seen in current cinema....
if u go back when Artist like Balraj Sahni, Dilip Kumar, Shammi Kapoor, Deva Nand, etc. (a few names more) they still knows for their character roles which they have played approx. 4 decades before.
But all of them, still living in our hearts, in our sweet memories....
just ask your parents when they watch an B&W movee like Aag - Raj Kapoor, Awara, Hum Dono - Deva Nand; Didar, Andaz, Footpath - Dilip Kumar; or Jwellthief, Jaal - Devanand....
they still tell u the feeling they felt at that time...

At the moment when Aamir played a role of traditional indian farmer in Movee LAGAAN, THE first reaction from the Audience/ Media....
it is comparable with Legend Balraj Sahni Saheb when they were played the role in MOVEE DO BHEGHAA ZAMEEN...
IT is just a small example to understand u the class of Aamir,
and a little more i want to share with u the moment when the very second movee of Aamir seen by the Juree of Film Censor Board, they appreciate the acting of the new comer by heart....
and the movee is that 'RAKH'
A VERY FEW PEOPLE HAVE SEEN THAT MOVEE because that was an off beat movee, there is no chalu masala in that film, which normally people/ audience wish to see the old indian drama...
the discussion held at Juree's Table was :
The natural acting of Aamir Khan.... at that time around 1989-90....
after that he enjoyed a long way in Indian Cinema....
I suggest u just see his movee

Aamir is 1000 times better than Shahrukh, who just does overacting and nothing else. The only thing what Aamir lacks is his height, for which he cannot take the blame. Aamir is better than Salman too as an actor. Salman is better than shahrukh.

Sanjay Dutt is not the best. Definitely he is better than every single actor from the present generation, but Older generation why only Amitabh, but some of the big names from 70's and 80's
Aamir is amazing to watch as compared to SRK becoz AAmir does films which are truly sensible and goes with the tastes of audience.He has been everyon'e fav since he came first time on screen and sang "Papa kehte hain" which not only was song in the film but it echoed the generations sentiments. Also he doesn't manipulate's his roles so that it shud go with his image like what SRK does (never tries to play Muslim guy in films and also never dares to do something diffrent from league). Thats where Aamir goes beyond him. Also not to forget Saif is equally brilliant and he is the next Khan to watch out. Only films that can be hated where Aamir should not have accepted the roles were Raja Hindustani,Mela and Fanaa.

Very very very true...Wish he had done more of Baazi kind of potboilers, instead of Mela and Raja Hindu.....
I think Fanaa's mistake is that the director towards the end got confused with what to do with Aamir's characgter, so not at all Aamir's fault.
