I am not a fan of Aamir Khan, but that equation changed when he supported the poor homeless farmers/villagers and voiced his concern over their plight. Kudos for standing up for the helpless. I wish him all the best on his B-day.

hey, many think that his support to the homeless farmers was a mere publicity stunt to get some free attention to his films. i think it was fanaa that was released soon after the "participation". when hte government retailaited, Aamir was not heard of anymore.

NO No it was just after his second marriage - so yeah he needed ppl to focus attention from his "left-wife-n-kids-&-marriage-again" image.

the ban on fanaa was a reaction he didnt expect from the government. if you had noticed, that was the last time he was seen participating in those rallies.
personally i dont have anything against him, but if you want to fight for a cause and use your celebrity status, then roll your cuffs back and really fight. dont time it to the release of a new film.
when the pesticide in softdrink controversy broke out, he said that he would personally investigate and stop accepting the endorsement deals if the allegations were found true. he still hasnt quit, so may be there are no pesticides at all :-)

I was also a Amir's hardcore fan ...until he deserted his family. He may have been helping homeless kids, which is a good cause ....but he himself have made his kids emotionally homeless!! (which might be one reason why he is portraying himself as a savor!!)

You have got it all wrong. Divorce happens for many reasons and sometimes unfortunately it is for the best. Parents who do not accept harsh realities of their lives and fake bliss for the sake of their children are raising adults who will only go on to become damaged goods. Children are not fools, they understand a lot more than adults give them credit for. Be it a broken marriage or a hostile relationship they need to be trusted with the Truth. Fooling one's own kid is the biggest crime a parent commits, it does not raise better children. Kids are emotionally affected in a hostile family setup with parents fighting each other under one roof.
When parents accept and acknowledge failure as part of life and go on to find happiness and success after failure, it makes a young mind of a child receptive to the challenges of life and stronger to deal with anything life throws at them.
Just bcuz Aamir accepted the failure of his relationship and is divorced from his wife his love for his kids has not lessened. They are not emotionally homeless.

For Aamir, AB, Sanjeev, SRK and Amol Palekar. I think Jhonny is the best.. He is versatile actor and has done so many different characters including apeing the above ones. So my votes goes to Jhonny.
