I'm not really a big follower of hindi movies but I like Aamir khan, shahrukh and govindas movies the best. I remember as a kid watching hindi movies where the actors just starts funny dancing.
Watching aamir khans movies, u never feel let down. the acting is not over the top or copied like most indian actors and the stories are different. i like lagaan,jo jita wohi sikandar and andaz apna apna and many more. shahrukh khans best movies are dil se and swades, his comedies are good too. Aamir, shahrukh and sanjay dutt are the best actors in india and will find success overseas if they try.
Living in Sydney i was exposed to movies from other countries, although they didn't make many movies like india but their quality was good and not copied from american.
Japanese movies along with chinese movies are good. they don't copy american stories. Specially movies by japanese director kitano:watch them.
Aamir khan is a great actor, doesn't make silly faces and not copying american actors.
Aamir is definitely the best actor. He plays every character with maturity and gets into the skin of that character easily. On his birthday I wish him many more years to come. I hope he will be doing good films and entertaining the audience as ever before.

Amir is a good actor. But he is not very good. Manoj Bajpayee is a better actor than him. Amir is never effortless in his performances. None of his performances are outstanding. But the good thing about him is he really cares about the plot and the story and most of the time he selects the better scripts (Forget Mela,Fanna etc).

You should not compare him with any other actor. We all know that he is a greater entertainer. I think you are forgetting his performance in Lagaan where he played a role of villager and spoken that language. It was not an easy job. In RDB he was superb. I rate him in the category of Dilip Kumar, Balraj Sahni and Sanjeev Kumar.

u r absolutely ryte brother.kahan amir kahan manoj bajpai.ha ha ha........really strange to his comparison.this does not really make any sense........for god sake never compare him with such low grade stars.........ya virander u r absolutely ryte.he is equvalnet to dilip kumar........not like aharukh who only knows running after gals and talking sweetly to gals...u can better observe from KBC shows also........

i think Aamir khan is brand of Bollywood .He has a;; quality that a good brands should have if u watch his movie u can feel it.If u watch any of his movie like lagan,Dil Chahta he,fanna all are different from each other ,all have different quality that u can percieve
