Myself virtually broke down when I came to know that OP jee is no more. He is the greatest music director so far. His all the songs are heart touching. His demise is the greatest loss to the music lovers.His 99.99 percent songs are hit.I have no words to express the sorrow I felt. There will be no substitude of OP Nayyar. Nayyar Saheb has created wonderful melodious music, which is immortal. I remember my first film C.I.D.It was 1955,when I watched it. I was 13 years old a class 8th student at S.P.H.I.C,, in a small town of U.P. Shahjahanpur. Now I am 64, working as a Tax Professional in U.S.A. and remember all his melodies of that film like, Aankho he aankho me, Boojh mera kaya naam re,Kahin pe nigahen kahin pe nishana etc. This was the majic of Nayyar Sahebs Music. Who says he is dead? Only his physical being is more with us but he has become immortal thru the songs he has composed. All his songs were so original that even now when we hear them, we feel that they are as fresh as a daisy flower.

The music director of Andaz Apna Apna is neither OP Nayyar nor Vanraj Bhatia, it is Tushar Bhatia, a wonderful musician in his own right and an ardent admirer of the great OP Nayyar.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of O.P.Nayyarsab. His songs even today are remembered for its melody anf freshness. You want to listen to the song again and again. With his passing away a doyen of Hindi music is no longer in our midst. May he & his songs remain etched in our memory for years to come
Very sad news and demise of O P Nayyar -film city and music lovers never compensate the real loss not replaced by others.No substituttion for cvertain things b'coz skill differs God is kind and certainly he will bless him Sanjay Daharwal Raipur Chhattisgarh.
O P Nayyar's typical music in his songs of "Ghoda gadi" or Horses' Footsteps will be greatly missed ( Maang ke saath tumahra and ello - ello etc) May god rest his soul
