To continue with the last message i would say that it is one of the toughest job for an actor to be act on a Comedy role. There also Amitabh has proven himself as an top quality actor, though he is not yet properly used in comedy roles but some examples like "chupke chupke","Namakhalal",Amar-Akbar-Anthony and there are many moments in many other films where Mr.Bacchan has shown his sense of humor with great magic. Actually some people has got very week conception about acting, presentation, versatility and class. They never wants to come out from the shell and see the god's creature.
I have just gone through Mr. Vakkachan comment. I do not know how much knowledge and depth he has! But one thing i would like to ask him as he mentioned "in terms of what they have presented on screen so far"---do you understand what presentation means. In 70mm or so silver screen nobody is there in history in world of cinema who is presenting the most superior and finest quality of acting and the overall presentation for almost 4 decades without letting down the interest of the people.instead people are taking more interest on his films of any ages. I tell you one of the most fundamental theory of presentation is presenting yourself on the screen and you put anybody with him,he will be nothing compare to Mr.Amitabh.I do have the full respect for those actors you have mentioned but you add them all together even after that they are not equal to Mr. Bacchan,in terms of everything.just for instance if i ask that any of the actor mentioned by Mr.Vakkachan have done such magical performance or are they brilliant as a Hero or as a commedian or in character role or in Romance like in "Black" or "Agneepath" or "Main azad hoon" or "Don"/Dewar/Sholay/Silsila list of films are there.
The veryfact that amitabh is doing this role, makes the whole project classy.infact, amitabh is much above now from those risks of acceptances,he must do all these diverse roles now.
Let him to do the film. But real handling must be from RGV. The Lolita should adopt to our style of thinking and doing. Does india lack Lolita. No. It is as common as wind and as old as time. Only when depicted on celluloid it inspires. No AB will not fail. babula shastry
