Hi after going through all these information being a moviegoer i can share an information In the year 1983-84 the well known tamil hero Dr.Shivaji ganesan acted a movie called MUDHAL MARIYAADHAI in tamil(first respect) opposit Radha directed by BHARATHIRAAJA i dont thing ramuji will tke few leaves out of it chins
YES YES YES...is my opian Indian people like & respect Amit G,So people show Amit G in every role, situtation,he is great great....Star in india cinema,so please sir u do all types of role...UuuMaaaaH.........
why not?if he can do a Boom, then he can do any role.on a serious note he ia capable of playing any complex role.se his acting in Black.it was something like lolita minus the sex factor.moreever he will be in the safe hands of maverick director ramgopal verma.lets wait and watch.
Big B can do lolita bcoz it is ramu who is going to present it. Ramu has art of presenting love in his own manners bcoz he is personally a non-emotional person. So when a non-emotional creative person presents actor like Bachan it would be worth watching.
However he should write the script carefully since the mistakes he committed in NAACH should not be repeated here.
As per my views Amitabh will definitely give justice to his role in the film Lolita as he does in all of his films. Amitabh is an actor of class n there is no other actor which can be compared with his persona. Also person like Ram Gopal Verma is going to direct this film, I m sure they both will do as good job as they did together in Sarkar.
dear amitabh myself shyam i am great fan of you. amitabh is a actor i think he will be doing work in ram gopal verma production film because he is a great leader of film industry. he is handel to lolita and ram gopal verma
I think most of people here are trying to control AB's acting rights. We should see him as an actor and not as a character. My full support to AB as I too am an artist and I better understand what an artist need. The only question as well as suggestion here is - Is Mr. Ramu fair enough with the story? Because Lolita in original novel is of 12 years age "nymphet" and not an 18 year old adolecent. Comment please............
Why shouldn't an actor, wanting to break newer grounds, do something as challenging as Lolita. A good actor should not chicken out only because a role may not be viewed favourably by some sections of the public. In fact, there lies the greater challenge--to go against the grain and stun people...no good actor should shy away from a challenging role...and Lolita should be a feather in the cap for any actor,...more so for Amitabh...who has always stretched the boundaries...
By the way, the 1997 version of Lolita was a far superior version that the 1962 version. Why call it a weak version? Check out Leonard Maltin's thumbs up for the film over the 1962 version, whose strong point was Peter Sellers.
