I think Mr Amitabh Bachchan is a very mature person and an actor. He can definitely decide on which role he should do and what message will be sent across to the indian audience by means of this role.
Moreover, he is an artist and he deserves complete liberty to make a choice in his art form.
time and again, he has proved his mettle as an actor and his maturity as a person.
as for you, you should better get your facts right before writing such reviews. u seem to belong to that genera of writers who tend to get popularity by writing titilating things.
Being a paedophile and being in love with a person younger your age are two very different things.
Let the movie come. Audiences will decide for themselves....if ofcourse narrow people like u dont spread the wrong word.
As an actor, Only Mr. Bacchhan would be able to do justice to this kind of role. We hae seen grey shades of him in Aankhen,Family, but this kind of story will be something new to the audience. Whether the audience will accept it or not purely depends upon the way the story wil be depicted. I think the viewers will like this role of Mr. Bacchhan
This story in the words of the infamous Yogi Berra is "Deja vu all over again".
Did we not see this Big B movie already ? If word of mouth serves us correct, the movie ended with the late Nazia Hassan (she was perhaps 14 years old then) slapping Big B (he was post 45 year old at that time).
Maybe Big B is now trying to use cinematic liberty to change the ending to something more favorable to him.
but he should not do the role of a pervert man , just to prove that he is a great actor . everybody knows that already . let RGV makes the film "Gone with the wind " and offer the role of Rett Butler to Amitji.
Why not, What makes an actor to say no just because a character played by him can twist his IMAGE. If this is what Amitabh is, he is getting respect/honour more than what he deserve.
It is purely to his understanding to accept or not for any role, not based on what public image be, but what he likes to.
