Guys, This is an open, in-the-face statement from Ram Gopal Varma - "Here are my actors. This is the only one way, I could tell the story. No non-sense from me, and I will not allow even my type of non-sense levels".
Either you accept it or you did not get it. For those who couldn't catch it - watch it again!
I have noticed a couple of times that reviews on rediff does tend to be genuine. The reviews often appear as if they have been tailored to predict whether the movie is worthy/or will be a hit a or a flop.
The objective of review is to express how one truly felt rather than tailoring it towards a prediction...
Hence the so many negative comments..
Btw am looking for some other site who give genuine reviews.....
I was disappointed by the review and thought the movie was not up to the mark..after reading these many anti reviews..NO ONE IS GOING TO STOP ME FROM WATCHING THIS MOVIE..

I mean the film grabs you from its first frame till last not giving you any chance to even take your eyes off the screen ....
Thats an Acheivement for any director.
If you compare it with Godfather then it is even shameful that Hum Tum was praised by him although it was a shabby copy of "When Harry meets Sally" (and my god it got a Filmfare for best director ! Strange .... I think the reviewer is one of the judges who selected that film)
If the criteria for criticism is that Sarkar is a COPY of Godfather then one should applaude for Ram Gopal Verma's Modesty that is shown at the begining of the film where he admits "This film is greatly inspired from GodFather..." and devots SARKAR to GODFATHER)
Also The reviewer remembers Ram Gopal Verma as the director of Company where I think he should exercise more with some good memory games and STOP reviweing films till then as I as a viewer remember Ramu for Classic Creations like Satya, Kaun, Bhoot and Rangeela & not Company which is a little above average film.
for what movie did u give review for?godfather or Sarkar?the review seems to be written without even seeing the movie with the sole aim being blabbering something abt sarkar...how can any reviewer go so personal??cant anyone give review without comparing it to some hollywood movie??
on the whole sarkar is awesome....bachchans are sexy
Your review is biased. This is a best movie, I have seen in long time. Its seems Raja does not like any movie when Amitabh in it. It is personal vendetta. Rediff should stop his reviews.
