I want to start with : "SARKAR is not worth to compare it with GODFATHER." So better not discuss its comparison with GODFATHER. SARKAR is one of the worst movies made by Ram Gopal Verma. There are many loopholes in the story, screenplay, cinematography and logic behind making this movie. First and the most important mistake about this movie is the foolish and idiotic representation of SARKAR i.e, Amitabh Bachchan.I am confused whether Ramu was trying to portray powerful and enigmatic SARKAR or miscalculating and overemotional(who only thinks about the poor and helpless people in Mumbai and still reigns the Mumbai-Politics as well as its bureaucracy and administration, with which any child on the street will disagree...)SARKAR.ok.fine.As an Indian,we like drama in the film, but we hate overdramatization of the movie which shows Abhishek spotting the exact timing at which the shooter's going to kill SARKAR(it's also when Police Officer slaps Abhishek and declares his non-cooperation with him). Villians(which are put together without any common interest) and Female characters in this movie are only characters and did not need any acting or time to 'waste' their sense in movie.
why don't you try another job or do you showing your enemyness against ramu,or amitji.sarkar ,no doubt ,a nice movie ever i seen,so please don't try to fool audience by reviwing this kind of stupid things
When I read the review, I thought I will give 'Sarkar' miss. Then I read the review in Times of India and decided to watch the movie. And what I see? A brilliant movie crafted well and gripping with powerfull performances!!! The rediff review is misleading and I think depends on personnel likes and dislikes.
My opinion about 'Sarkar' is that it rocks. Well it would have been still made better if only the edition in first half would have been sleek. The music would have been bit more elegant which becomes bit loud at times. As far as the story and performances goes it is great. Amitabh is flawless, Abhishek has done justice and his timing in deliverring dialogues with ease is really kool. Only improvement I can sugest is when he runs for life. I feel the intensity is missing on his facial expressions and body language, but Ramu's camera covers it well and makes it convincing. He should watch Amitab running for life in Deewar, Sanjay dutt in Naam or Shahrukh in Darr. Kay Kay is superb and do does the other cast. Overall great movei, and I dont mind watching it again...
can this foolish review be removed!! not a single sentence makes sense for someone not having watched godfather!!! can't the whole of rediff team provide an unbiased review !!!!
This Raja Sen plus the whole team of rediff are hellbent on projecting SRK to be the superstar. Which, alas, is not going to happen as long as ACTORS like Big B are here. Mr Sen, please note that SRK is not even 0.001% of what Big B is!! So, stop this bias and accept the reality --- AB is KING of Indian Cinema. The real Superstar.
we are eager to see the review and mostly make up our mind to see the moovie or not. the review really dissapointed us. but still we made it to the moovie.
