Mr Murthy stop balking. Excepting pocketing the money from IT boom and giving hallow speaches what have you done. Bill Gates & Warren Buffet pledged all they wealth to poor. Are you in the game.

Mr. Murthy will you able to lead by example or leave all your wealth to your children. Typical Indian mentality.

A question to NRN
by chakrapani gopal on Oct 27, 2010 10:46 PM  | Hide replies

Dear Mr.Murthy,

In your article here you encourage people to build career in India. I have a straight question to you, you kids are at Stanford and Harvard. So do you mean to say they didn't have a dream to study in the US.

Its ones goal to study in the US and make a career in the US. Is it necessary that only Mr.Murthy and clan has a go in the US. Not as commoners we have dreams.

Why this partial attitude sir. No one needs suggestions or advice. Its their choice.

I know of many employees from Infosys who have been to US on H1B and L visas and have converted them to greencard for their own benefits.

Why at all did you encourage your employees and kids to go out of India. Please don't preach now.

You had your day. Now as your dreams got fulfilled you want to stop others for your gains.

Let Murthy sacrifice first!
by mallaiah anchoori on Oct 27, 2010 07:23 PM

Of all,Narayana Murthy is the top most hypocrite in the corporate world who says some thing out & does some thing else.He appears to be a staunch supporter of "English "with scant regard for the regional languages of the country. It is not correct to say that lack of English knowledge stunts the mobility within the country. After all,English is not every thing for the Indian educated youth.here are countries like Russia & Germany where every thing is taught in their national languages only;we too can ,as well, follow it & at best can plead for such a common language acceptable for the nation-say Hindi. His real form vents out when he answers the questions as to whether he accepts the post of "Indian President" by saying that "president is a nominal head" as if the post is really offered to him & he is rejecting it like a small grass.Yes,the grapes inaccessible always taste soar.Leave alone the comforts-can he assure at least a hassle free life with all uninterrupted basic necessities of life available in the west-say like USA to arrest the exodus to the latter? Why does he not apportion more of his profits to his employees & make their life comforts on par with those working abroad.Let him set example by sacrificing his share of profits first. It is easy to talk high than to implement. We heard several such lectures.

Stay in India, but do not sing National Anthem, as foreigners touring here will not understand the language! Hypocrites have their way!

Why send his children to US for studies.
by Tughlak on Oct 27, 2010 07:10 PM  | Hide replies

NRN talks a lot. Why did he send his son to US for studies. He should have set an example by making him study in India only. When it comes to us we want our children to study in Harward,MIT etc.,. and settle abroad. When it comes to others they should not go abroad instead work as slaves to India IT companies
He asking people to be proud about India. So my point was why he didn't ask his son to get education in India. As far as settling abroad is concerned we all know for rich people it doesn't really matter which country they are in. Even a country like Brunei is fine for rich people. Already his son has 2 companies in his kitty Infosys and TVS (through love trap).
My advice to all youngsters is be like NRN and get rich from the slavery of others or go abroad and pursue what interests you.

Mrs Murthy is proud to say that his son and would be daughter in law is western educated.
Daughter is also western educated and settled in life- there? Now, it is easy to preach for others. It is all for public consumption.

Infosys was a fluke...
by teetee on Oct 27, 2010 07:07 PM  | Hide replies

Infosys was formed by fluke at the right time and became big more by luck than design, unlike wipro, tcs, tatas or ambanis.

murthy and his group are not entrepreneurs in real sense.
