all want to fill there own pockets, they dnt want to look about the counrty.india will take 100years to make this type of trains.indian public dnt deserve this type of trains,
I think these trains even if started in india.. wont be used by common ppl... it will be as expensive as flights.... let our income increase first then railways can plan this.... even china is facing huge losses with these trains...

I agree to a considerable extent. High speed trains require very high amounts of initial investment and high amounts to be spent on regular maintenance. Moreover as you say with such costs, the fares will be prohibitively expensive. It will have an implementation plan of at least 10-15 years and technology will have changed substantially by then.
Indian Rail Network is well-spread. We should think of leveraging existing network to have trains (Passenger and Cargo) travelling at 200 and 100KM/h respectively.

the train will have the caption as "Made to kindle sentiments of the people"
Indian public will first spit gutkhas and pan's on the out side wall. Infact they will try to piss on it also.. We don't deserve this. So called 100KMPH trains are perfect for us.

I have seen indian (mostly lower class ones) in middle east spitting everywhere. I felt spitting is what they enjoy the most.

And have you stopped them or complained against it to the local authorities? With Middle Eastern tight laws over sanitation, it should be possible than "damned Indian corrupt authorities and politicians".
It is very well-known "middle class mentality" to crib about things and damn the politicians. It is this very middle class that reclines at home on the voting day.
Chinks are way ahead in train technology. Soon their high speed trains will start entering Pakistan and Nepal. India, being a backward nation, will keep running trains at 45 kph.
I saw many Indians complaining about your own country when comparing with China,as China has achieved many things while India has not.Actually we complain about our country too in China just as you guys do.We have many problems too,and just about 10 years ago, there're many Chinese who worship things foreign and fawn on foreign countries like US or European countries. However the situation began to change through our hard work and exploration year by year. The Indian people are also smart Asian people and should have confidence on your great motherland,I'm sure India will get better and better!

Your comments should open eyes for those who keep on criticizing their own people and demoralise them further and also they should learn a lesson that if a Chinese can be optimistic about India then why can't they also think in the same manner !

Good write up by you. Earlier in the day I mentioned that, Chinese people are not against India, But it is the chinese govt. I stay in Shanghai for last 1 year, and love the city very much. The problem is in India, the country is ruined by Scams, Corruption and Politics.

thanks for your appreciation. In my opinion, scams, corruption and dark politics are just inevitable in the process of development.China also have these same problems. What we can do is find the problems and overcome them,so we step forward.Every country is like this,no matter it's India ,China ,or even US.
