Forget about 350Km/h, we will never reach a speed of 100km/h before 2050.This republic's DNA is a peculiar one-We will never.
It has been a corrupt nation with demoralized rulers, and the same trend will be followed in the years to come.

here it is a mammoth task to acquire land. need not such high speed trains... but a clean road is a necessity. Here these bloody politicians play politics in the name of democracy. India is never going to become developed country !

right. Since I was a child i.e. 1971, in my school, My first page in text book would read as " India is a Poor country". and then in later pages, it will be " India is a under developed country, and India is a developing country". and this phrase is still continuing in 2010. Sic sic sic sic

lets build our own technology first
by breadnbutter on Nov 19, 2010 04:34 PM  | Hide replies

the notable thing in all the trains displayed is that each country(china, korea,US,Japan) has its own indigeneous technology to build these trains. we however depend on any of these countries or on France,Italy etc., to build these trains. we shud develop the necessary technology first and then daydream about traveling in a bullet train. we still buy torchlights and tissue papers from other countries and are fit for making home made papads and pickles. lets grow up..

in that case it might take another 1000 yrs b4 bullet trains become a reality in India.
