This is good news
by kumar on Jan 26, 2010 07:26 PM  | Hide replies

This is good news as it elimintates the fraud resumes and also eliminates the lower billing. Most of the indian consultants are taking advanatge of american laws and are making money illegally. These consultants are ready to take any offer and are also instrumental in bringing down the billing rates. I saw lot of people working in the companies with fake resumes and with lower billing. This law will eliminate all these fakers and also the dirty companies.
Also US Govt needs to look into the fakers who are hurting the people having real experience. US Gov needs to ban these people(having fake experience) and keep them in jail for sometime and deport them back to india.

I dont think fake experience is really an issue. Because every Indian company is projecting their candidates to its Clients with some level of fakeness. Fake is ok as long as he can deliver to the Client needs. Otherwise he will be exposed by the Client. The Client has Zero tolerance toward incapable people. Fake is set to fail in the long run if he does not have the capability to deliver.

Issue is more than 60% of them are fake resumes. Also the indian consulting companies are one of the worst blood sucking companies. They go to any level for billing.

Guys, tell me one thing, if client requirement is like Java, J2EE, .net, VB, C , Oracle, Sybase etc. like they put whatever they know and consultant company dont know what is difference planforms like if job is for java j2ee then why they need .net. I mean some time it may be valid reason, but lot of they dont have valid reason. So consultant company asks candidates to put at lest one such technology in any project.

So it all happens ignorance in lot of layers.

Big companies requirement notes are balanced and small company have not. Big consultant companies can verify the requirement and rejects from their side similarly a fake resume can be easily screened out.

Only desperate, donkey companies asks candidates to fake.

How do you know that genuine people were not deported? And does it mean only big companies can sponsor H1?

There is fraud everywhere and criminals will be punished when caught. Does not mean that US should close it door in panic. This is what is happening and will cerate a negative long term impact.

Bad news for H1B visa holders

But would keep check on fraudulent consulting companies like First-Tek Technologies, NJ and to bust companies like these for their malpractice and unethical exploits.

One of my relative was in India and had his flight back to US yesterday. I read this article and alerted him as I felt he might be a casuality of this new memo. In time he got some required documents from his employer and good to know he reached home safely. He thanked me and I am thanking REDIFF.

Because Judiciary had died in India. Only the powerful rich people can exploit the resources. Others have little scope. When Judiciary starts delivering then people will like to live in India.

There is an immigration museum near Statue of Liberty. It tells tales of people who immigrated to US. In their native place they had tough time meeting two ends. In US they became well to do and never went to their native country even once.

If you have any self respect dont go back
by Mr Walker on Jan 26, 2010 04:42 PM  | Hide replies

If you have any self respect do not go back unless they tender an apology and agree to treat you right next time.

Rather work for making your country better and stronger one fine day those people will scramble to get here or invite you there.

Get some self-respect and treat yourself and your country better including all flaws and issues.

It is far easy and kind of escapist to go abroad rather than stay and decide to make a positive change tough challenges are fun to take.

If you think about self respect then most of the people will have to commit suicide or die in hungerness in India. Dont go too far. Take things easy and live according to the demand of your need.
