1).As far as possible land at your employer city and if you do not have direct flight to the employer location show them the proof your connecting flight.
2). If you have to go to client's location due to time limitations & urgency I would suggest to carry LCA(Labor condition Application) Document. which is a amendment made by your employer to your petition when you change the location of work. This document should be a legitimate proof that you can work in that location. This may not save you from deportation as the port of entry officials are process driven and do not have patience to understand what you say. But this can be a good document and can be vital document to save you.
3). If faced by deportation (ER) go back on your own expense...

There are no rules, whatever the cops want, is done, can be done..
The United States of America is the promised land in spite of its many failings; but it cannot be faulted if its trying to set its own house in order. Unemployment is high and climbing and locals jobs are being usurped by lower salaried immigrants that only fuels resentment. Indians ought to turn their their own attention to their maotherland that not only needs them , but offers excellent business/ job prospects. No tears for indians ditching india and getting booted in foreign lands.

I am sure you are the kind of immigrant who wants to close the door behind you. However the degrading, humiliating treatment is deplorable.

Accepted one has to put the house in order, but shouldn't it start by imposing themselves on the corporations filing petitions for these guest workers? Without the corporate greed where would the employees come into picture? Why humiliate employees while the petitioner gets off easy or without any penalty??
Globalization was the mantra used by the developed nations to gain access for their corporations in other nations.
Seems they only want a one way process.
These guys are no better than the BJP that used the "swadeshi" mantra in the 80s.

Seriously, i do not understand the concept of lower paid immigrants. Every employee on H1B should be paid the minimum salary stipulated in LCA document. And most if not always, companies pay 5k more than that amount. I have been in US for almost 7yrs and every american i know has always earned less than me for the same job we did. Only difference being , i am a employee with a science degree and these guys are not. Only illegal immigrants are the ones paid lower salary than american counter part. So where does the argument of replacing a local with a immigrant , because he can be paid lower comes in picture. Corporate america always will replace higher paid with lower paid as long as the service level is not affected. Indian companies like Infy, Wipro, TCS mostly recruit indians, as we understand each other, and our Indian managers can easily extract more work from a India when compared to an non Indian.
I met one of the desi who works in a foreign country(I dont want to name the country, the country the best in the world for expats),,he is staying there for a long time, working ,earning, got married, had a baby, bought a house and now he says that India is a great country and not the adopted country,,,,and put "mera bharat mahan" in his orkut status and plan to leave in another 4-5 years after long term renewal,,,,,,,what a shame,,,though I know that bastar** will be there only,,,,,but show some respect to the nation that has filled your's and your families stomach and tolreated your stinking presence,,,,,,,

same question from me too..I don't see any disrespect shown to his great country
India is total waste and a useless whining nation, one third of worlds poor is in india, full of aids and disease, nasty pollution, diabetic capital, corruption, religious and caste based hate politics everywhere, jealousy ruining people inside india, look at Raj Thackerye doing his divide the nation act and u guys have no way to stop this India is totally dependent on america to solve their problems,Malik is right,he is asking India to stop whining,India is no better than Pak or any third world country, get over it u losers
Here in America a Indian is viewed with the same look like any third world country uncivilised person is looked at,no different.
If Pak is the enemy why dont u finish em off,why whine for 60 years and expect america to help? For americans both u and pak are the same...no better

What you said about India may be right. But consider this about US and why one looks down upon US
1. Gay capital is California 2. Divorce capital of the world. For eg., Tiger woods wife said "her divorce payment of USD 300 mn is woods' christmas present" 3. Hire and fire 4. Blacks are still underprivileged, downtrodden - remember lousiana ? 5. Shoot outs in university campuses every year 6. President of the country attacks 2 countries in a totally different far away continent with no rhyme or reason (WMDs were a joke). BTW, there are far higher american deaths due to iraq war than WTC collapse 7. American greed almost brought down the global economy in year 2008 8. WB and IFC fund countries that are loyal to the US. They dont have any inclination to help any country come out of poverty 9. Pharma, and Insurance companies, Doctors have formed such a cartel because of which cheap drugs are sold at exorbitant rates 10. Look at US republican vice president candidate, sarah palin, well, dont look at her !! Having said these, US is a great country in other aspects and so is India, such as "mere paas maa hain" !!

If you were not born in India, you wouldn't have had the opportunity to be in USA and making good money and blaming your motherland. Shame on you man honestly.

WELL, MR. K@TLEE RAMANA SHIVA PORKISTANI (WITH A FAKE HINDU NAME),
First of all, what you said is accepted in terms of social evils. But each society has its own problems. Wwe accepted everyone inspite of partition/ imperialism for years. That is a strength. Secondly, whenever there was a war, you p0rkis's azzes were beaten black & blue.
Aand in the event of the remotest chances of you being an Indian, you should be thankful you are able to post such msgs n still alive. God forbid if you do that in P0k1stan, you know, ur test1cle5 will be used to make Osama's dinner...

I thought India is rich and affluent and there is no need to go to US or Europe of making bread and butter. Our banks are full of money and our industries are hiring millions. Then why these idiots apply for H1-B visa?
