Tax refunds being diverted to fake accounts
by seshasayee Kandadai on Apr 09, 2009 09:58 AM  Permalink

Does the graet financial thinkers like MMS & PC have an answer to this? Unless some politician is also hand in glove with these authorities this cannot happen.

why is this even news?
by Lal on Apr 09, 2009 08:59 AM  Permalink

This happens all the time. I'm surprised that it became news. India is number one in corruption and so it does not surprise me anymore. If it were the opposite, now that would surprise me and that is something I do want to know. People in authority in india have absolutely NO morals.

IT refunds...
by mathihalli rao on Apr 09, 2009 07:22 AM  Permalink

Refunds were faster. Infact, the account number is to be mentioned on the refunds orders. Infact the IT department was USER FRIENDLY. Sometime, the tax payuers feel, by paying small amount of tax, they are good. Sysytems in Govt need, understanding tax payers too....Tax ayers to now the system of Govt, then such things will not happen.

Reason of fraud
by Second Thought on Apr 09, 2009 05:20 AM  Permalink

I havent received refund for the year 04-05 and 05-06. unfortunatly I dindnt visited to incometax office for any enquiery. I know visiting the government offices is not easy you have to give your whole day for it, and not one day you have to visit many times. then and then you will get the output. There are maney people who know this and they never visit the income tax office. I think now everyone who havent received thier refund should visit the income tax office for the enquiery. Otherwise there is no use of blemming them, because the word is full of currupt people and criminals. we need to take care of ourself by our own. Government will not do anything because...everybody know the reason.... Its our responsibility that they should not succeed.

Here the ammounts are diverted to fake accounts its FRAUD and not the curruption.

She does not have to pay a single penny for her b!ouse. All her earning from mafia business in !taly and !ndia should be taxed... which will worth in crores.

What is the toleration limit of Indians. I just want your opinion
by Mahesh on Apr 08, 2009 07:50 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

1) We already know that there is around 60 lakh crores in Swiss bank, if it is 120 lakhs will we come together and say it is enough.
2) Even after 60 years we don’t have proper drinking water, electricity, good roads, good government schools, Good government hospitals the basics of any society. If it is 120 years after independence still we are not getting the above then people will come together and say it is enough.
3) From the beginning there was only one political party and now we have plenty of choices. In spite of choosing different parties every time still all these factors are same. How many years we will start experimenting with political parties and come to a conclusion that it is enough.
4) We have the lousiest media in the world, they air more Pakistan, Bangladesh, bollywood & cricket news as if we don’t have any problems in the society. How much more news of this kind & waste discussions and debates will provoke us to say that it is enough.
5) God only can help our legal system which takes more than 10 years to say one is guilty or not. Highest priority of the nation should be giving proper and speedy justice. We have 200 times failed in this process. We have crores of cases pending in various courts. How many more crores of cases will make us realize that it is enough.
I surely feel Indians are the best in the world for forgiveness & forgetfulness. It is really good to have these both for any society. But we all know that these two ‘F’ has F**k

You suggest armed revolt?

In this country?

With such colourful language on display with only keyboards, by graduates?

Not a comforting thought.
