WOW UP up
by Reji A on May 24, 2007 04:18 PM

In a state where the law resembles old wild west, nothing can change. It is the survival of the fittest.
People in general in this state and Bihar have become tolerant of all evils, curruption, murder, power cuts, bad roads, bribery etc. Of course, other states are not far behind either. This the reason why India is 100 years behind US, Germany, Japan, Singapore etc. India is around 30 years behind China. Opinion is purely based on my stay in these states and countries.

Induction Program

One things is clear.....Mayawati is not interested in moving forward for development. She does not want to do anything...but for the sake of doing something she does not mind moveing backward.

I seriously thinks there should be an induction program for chief ministers.

Narendra Modi can certainly train all of them (including Dr. Manmohan Singh to take his own decissions)

The real thing behind scrapping Reliance is Anil Ambani?s friendship with Mulayam singh And Amar singh...It is a part of Rajniti---To destory the fort of enemy starts from enemies friends and strenghts. And may be another step would be to raise tax on movies from amitab bacchan and party which were mostly tax free during Mulyam raj.
Mayawati will surly recommend SEZ sooner or later but only where her own interests meet. Thats it.

U r right Gautham,

Thats why gujarat is progressing like anything these days. Modi is alloting WASTE land for SEZ's which other states need to think about. Everybody wants to make money by sacrificing farming land.

That is correct....If Gujarat were not a part of India and a saperate country (God-forbit if it ever happens) Then Gujarat would have been competing economically with the G8 nations.

Power is Important
by ram r deshmukh on May 24, 2007 04:14 PM  | Hide replies

I really don't understand this rivalry game but I understand that india is in need of electric power and Reliance is trying to produce this power. I know its kind of tough for the peopl e in the village to sell their land but at the end of the day if there is no electricity how can they do farming?
The solution should be taken out of it by sitting and talking with relaience and paying more money to farmers for their land and employing them in the power project. Thus both farmers and relaince would get benefit and India could cope up with this electricity problem partially.
Dr Ram Deshmukh

politics without rivalry - not possible. y farmers shud sell their land. y can't they be guided, helped to bring up their lives. Instead of working in a power project working for themselves they will yield more for themselves & to the nation. v know only when v starve.

Dear Nice
looks like you are one of the best people to decide what is good and what is bad for people of UP thank to the Grand Lady called Mayawati who is just a worshipper of Maya(Money)
I remember my school days when she was being promoted my BSP chief Kanshi Ram she was not from such an affluent family nor she had income source to make such a big empire for herself. Its all public money being siphoned

She is not doing anything for UP she is just trying to settle her scores with Mulayam Singh & Amar Singh..

We all in UP know that how badly we need more power supplies
UP has power scaricity and then stopping or delaying the projects means pushing UP backwards

We all know Air Conditioners are affective in closed rooms but Mayawati in all her election campaigns while addressing the public gathering had Air conditioners fitted to the open stage

the day she moved in she transfereed 100s of IAS & IPS officers

was that needed

I think we should not support this kind of a leader

BIMARU states of India

It is not for nothing UP is branded as one of the (BIhar-MAdhyaPradesh-Rajasthan-Up) BIMARU states of India.

Narrow caste-based politics, baby-producing factories are their characteristic, even God by now must have given up on these....
