MAYAWATI LACKS ADMIN MATURITY
by prashant chakravarty on May 24, 2007 03:51 PM  | Hide replies

Just imagine the prosperity Rs11,000 cr could have brought to Economy of UP. How many direct-indirect employments it could have created for UPites.

If she had done a bit of lesson teching to Ambani that was ok, but cancelling entire project in hipshooting manner?? What a filthy ego and lack of sensitivity for population.

UP's loss will now be some other states gain

MAny times I think of the kind of people who support politicians and and their vote banks.
Now if the foolish become wise would they continue to extend their support ?
So better to keep the people in a foolish state of mind and keep winning this seems to be the norm.

WAIT AND SEE
by man on May 24, 2007 03:49 PM

She should not scrapped otherwise employment problem will come better government will deal firmly and full norms as per the law stating state government should fully satisfied with deal then only government should consider. Certainly it is a unemployment problem and moreover some of the vegitables are cheap also compare to other markets, which we have to accept moreover important aspect though rate may be little bit high depends of the city but quantity wise it is 100% correct. Moreover people [all sections] are started to buy from him. Moreover in rainy seasons all vegitable vendors started looting and all the vegitable prices will go abnormal. Now this is time we have to patience to see what price will charge from the customers.

Why India always follows other nations practice for development..Is building numbers of SEZs like China is our development..the big companies are buying farmers land at a rate of peanuts, then they will develop some commercieal buldings or even residential buildings from which these big companies will make good profit..sad thing is not eucated people in India understand these things and keep supporting these SEZs

This is no good, this will start new style of abstracting money from corporates by overnments, if preveious government has made some decissions legally the next government should not alter that. this will be a blow to investors and will hamper developement.

Hats off to Mayawati !!!
by saikrishna kondaraju on May 24, 2007 03:46 PM

Hats off to her decision to take on the big industry.
Government should not act as a broker and acquire land from poor farmers. Let the industry deal with them directly so that they get adequate compensation...
Fertile farm lands should never be acquired by force. Already there are signs of a lack of food security in the country... let's not go back to the days where we had to import food grains ...
