government has to analyse the reasons for the increase in poppulation. Isolate groups / regions where the increase is maximum. find out innovative ways to stop increase and improve awareness in those regions / groups.
Giving incentives for delayed children is okay. But the Govt. should ban such politicians having more than 2 children from competing elections and become MLAs, MPs and Ministers, irrespective of which party he or she belongs to. Otherwise, those who have more than a dozen children will sit on our head and control us and give us incentives for having delayed children so that they can reap the harvest
If it is a voluntary scheme, then the people who are now already practicing it only will get benefit, and the nation does not benefit nor the population growth rate decrease. Instead of that kindly implement the schemes like, no ration card, no subsidies, no reservation benefits, no govt jobs and education in govt schools and colleges, no chance for other govt welfare schemes if any couple have more than two children.
Its not a good idea to implement. Before 5-6 years back govt asked to plan for some other jobs (except food items) to the farmers. Now we strive for food, if the same is followed population, Indians may strive for their future generation. Don't let the govt to think in this wrong way.
Of course the family planning in India must be incentivised and go beyond the soft hand intiatives of Govt., undertaken thus far. Single child family norm must become mandatory and carry some incentives and those who refuse to do so ought to be penalised with heavy fines and even imprisonment. Brij Khar
It is really a good idea to gift incentives for delay in having kids. At the same time the government also should tax those people who have more children. Because they spoil all efforts of reducing population. Only certain category of people opting for delay, family planning etc. whereas other catagories continue to produce children in order to increase their numbers. WILL THE GOVERNMENT HAVE GUTS TO TAX THOSE WHO PRODUCE MORE CHILDREN AND SPOIL THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY?????????????????????

Do the other categories, who product children like a factory pay tax????
How can you impose tax OR fine on them??? Ultimately you will send them to jail!!! That's what they want - to have guaranteed food without work!!

Taxing for Economicaly weak, how will you do it? For Salaried , you can do it. but for Economically Weaker Section ??? Bala I think Awareness and sense of National Pride is the solution
