yeah it did happen to all my friends using Vodafone a year back wherein they first said free caller tunes in month august and never said we need to inactivate it as matter of fact i did not ask for it also . from next month they charged me rs.30 it is now one year no response to it , hopeless company

These companies are also not transparent in their bill amount. I think govt. should tax havily to these service providers so that at least these looted money can go as tax.

hey..if Govt enforces additional taxes, they wud charge the taxes to customers only..Just think about VAT..nowadays we are asked to pay VAT in many places, but do you think the VAT you paid will reach the Govt??
The cell phone bills should be made similar to BSNL format which gives all the calls made and the charges against them. BSNL has many problems due to their old aged staff but they are the most honest in charging. I never faced any cheating from them. Of course there were mistakes in billing- but never any purposeful cheating for money. BSNL should imporve their reach and cell phone service so that people can be benefitted and escape from these cheating frauds of private cell phone companies.

BSNL is Crap. I had opted for one india plan, and without switching on the phone for 2 weeks ( that i donot use mobile coz of work reasons ) the bill eery month would be not less than 1000. They have explanation for everything. I think the era of the nation without mobile was much better to live with. what the point in cheating people ?

You are correct. They are deducting monthly rental in addition to my service charges they are leveing during recharge.
