I belong to SCaste. I had had enough thoughts, rightfrom my school days, about reservation for brahmins. I support the reservation for Brahmins. But the 7% is not a correct ratio. The non-brahmins who are more than 98% of the population get only 69% reseravtion in total. With my current knowledge about brahmins population, I think Brahmins can be alloted only 1% reservation. In count its a big number to their population. Let 30% for open competition.
I will change my support for Brahmins reservation if some expert can justify the reason for not giving reservation to brahmins?

You don't have to give any reservation to Brahmins man, just ensure that you don't takeaway their seats and give it to somebody else. Hence the question of 1% or 7% does not arise. The reservation issue would have only come because of this reason. Hope you won't mind it.

Why are you so upset. In this democratic India they have right to live in the way they need. What is the right you have to dectate terms to them.
Then ask Muslims to not to grow beard. Muslim Women to not to wear Bhurka. To Christians to not to wear cross. Ask Faters in the churches to changes their dressing style.
If above cited things are considered as stupid, inhumand and foolish first ask those people to do that then you can ask bramhins to do that.

There should never be reservation based on caste. Reservation should be ablolished immediately. Education, Job etc.. should always be based on merit only. All private Scools and colleges should be taken over by government and every one should be given education free of cost compulsorily up to college. This will solve all the problem.
