HE was the most boring unentertaining stonewaller we have had the misfortune to bear, now these articles seem to go on and on ..as boring as his cricket

No, after 30 innings without anything, getting 100th record vs. specially ordered flat pitch Bungladesh is ideal

I would like you to have a look at Dravid's centuries also. I dont where they came in. oops I m sorry i dont remeber WHETHER they came in or not.
dsnot even knw the abc of test cricket. A test match is always won when bowlers take 20 wickets. No doubt Dravid is a great batsman but he got support from bowlers too who actually play a vital role in team’s victory.

When Tendulkar used to play before dravid, ganguly or laxman, what was our bowling standard ? Kapil |Dev was past his peak and we didn’t have any quality bowler. After Dravid, |Laxman or Ganguly the burden from Tendulkar was shared and we had good bowlers like Kumble, Srinath, Zaheer and Harbhajan.

Dravid scored great 270 and we won but nobody remembers Agarkars outstandin 6 wickets which was the basic foundation of victory. Tendulkar also scored equally great 241 no but he had no Agarkar to support and we couldn’t get Aus. 10 wickets in 90 overs on last day.
Tendulkar scored 193 (330 balls) vs England in Leeds and Dravid scored 148 (307 balls), India won but Dravid was man of match. Strange ?

that 241 was one of the worst innings i have ever seen. absolutely no shots were scored on the offside. because of the dull and boring innings, we drew a test match that we could have won if we had more time. the 193 against england was also a similar knock where all the hard work was done by dravid. tendulkar and ganguly came and feasted on a tired england attack and got hundreds. and if i remember right, tendulkar struggled initially against caddick and was looking lost.

Dear Mr. Fink, Thats what I wrote, we could have won match if bowlers had taken wickets. And if a batsman struggle against a bowler and still scores good runs, does it make inning ordinary ?

ah, but you see the bowling was pretty ordinary when tendulkar scored 241 in sydeny. no mcgrath, no warne. but still tendulkar decided to leave all deliveries outside offstump alone just because he was not in good form. instead of correcting his offside game, he decided that scoring a slow double century was greater than making some quick runs. and yet this innings is being hailed as one of his greatest knocks. #irony.

For your knid info, Sachin scored 241 with brett lee. Dravid's 233 had no brett lee in the match

Tendulkar scored 177 and 74 (Top scorer of match) vs England and Ganguly scored 136 and 48 with 3 wickets , match drawn because our bowlers failed but Tendulkar should have been man of match.
Tendulkar scored brilliant 169 vs Africa but other than Azhar every batsman and bowler failed. Tendulkar’ s fault ? Right ?
Tendulkar palyed many such great innings and saved team but maximum times bowlers or other batsman let him down. 155 vs SA, 154 no, 153, 148, 114 vs Aus., 119 no vs Eng. Are a few examples but team didn’t win. Tendulkar’s fault ? Right ?

Dear Mr. Prashant, I have mentioned only test innings. If I start writing about Tendulkar's great One day innings then the list will go very long. 175, 141, 134, 98, 117, 91 and many more.

Dhoni, you are right. That is why you are such a good captain. Look, now you are sitting & chatting without any worry because Sachin is batting. Thats why Sachin is a such a great player!

While there is no doubt of the resolve & commitment of Dravid, there is one error which is being overlooked.
Dravid's decision to keep wickets is being presented as a proof of his readiness to sacrifice for the team's cause. But his Captain of that time Ganguly himself has clarified that Dravid decided to keep wicket because Dravid at that time could not have been accommodated in the one day team only based on his batting and therefore room was made by asking Dravid to keep wickets which anyway helped team because he did the job of wicket keeper also more or less satisfactorily.
