Ravi Bhaskar has made an indepth analysis to prove that Dravide is greater than Sachin. I do not wannt to say who is great but certain comparisons and or certain statements are uncalled for. Dravid has kept wickets but has he ever bowled the deciding last over? Test match is won by bowlers. Sachin debuted when Kapil was a shadow of the past, Prabhakar and Harbhajan were still trying to establish and Chetan Sharma was unpredictable. Whereas Dravid debuted when Srinath and Venkatesh prasad, Kumble and Harbhajan had established themselves. Hence the comparison in unjustified. Let us admit that both Dravid and Sachin are great players.

To correct few of ur statements,Harbhajan made his debut after Dravid.Chetan Sharma was out of the team before even Sachin made his debut. But i admit that there was a time Indian batting depended only on Sachin,it's only after Rahul came the burden was shared ,otherwise if Sachin got out ,ppl would switch of the TV sets knowing fully that the Indian fight has ended.

I am not sure what you are trying to suggest here. Dravid is a batsman who has hardly bowled around 10 overs in his entire career. So I dont know why you bring up bowling here as a benchmark for judging his greatness. Anyway, if he had been asked to bowl a last over by one of his captains, I think he would have done so readily.
Harbhajan came into the team in 1998. I dont know why you think he was around when Sachin debuted. Besides, i dont understand what the presence of established bowlers or the lack of them has anything to do with the discussion here.
