Laxman we miss u...

Yes Laxman has officially anounced his retirement at HCA office today. North Stand in Uppal stadium will be named after him.

He was always a fighter and a good second innings player. He played some memorable innings for India in test cricket and will be remembered as one of the most stylish batsmen ever to have played cricket...His silken strokes on the off side and his majestic flicks and courageous hook shots will be remembered forever.. we will certainly miss u Laxman.....

VERY SURPRISING and UNEXPECTED.
The timing is suspicious.
Srikkanth or Dhoni might have insulted him of late , after his selection for NZ series. The truth should come out.

It is a big insult and injustice to a great player who has served the country.

Who has written this article? No where mentioned. Even no name is credited to the images. Yes Laxman may retire. But this write up is just a speculative version

Wise Decision

He tried hard to succeed in Australia this time around but age caught up with him. Among the seniors only Tendulkar still amazes me with his skill, agility and hunger for runs. Hope he stays like that for long!!

Facts about Sachin
by Akash Mehra on Aug 18, 2012 03:00 PM

We cricket fans are lucky to have born in this era where we could able to see Sachin Tendulkar playing live in front of us. Some of his great deeds on cricket fields are given below.
1) He helped India draw a critical test match against Pakistan in Pakistan when he was just 16 years old. He was critically injured on his nose in the same match.
2) Bowling the last over in Hero Cup final where West Indies required 6 runs to win, he gave just 3 runs and helped India win the cup.
3)He is the highest run getter in 1996, 2003 world cups and second highest run getter in 2011 world cup among all the countries who played in these world cups.
4) Batting heroically in a test match against England in 2008 at Chennai to win the test, chasing more than 350 runs in the last innings on a difficult pitch. This innings had lifted the spirits of all Indians who were in a state of shock over the terrorist attack in Mumbai.
5) Batting majestically in 2003 world cup match against Pak scoring 93 runs and helping India win the match.
6) Batting magnificently in Sharjah in 1998 against Australia to win the cup there.
7) Batting brilliantly in Australia against Australia in 2008 where his 2 great innings helped India win the cup for the first time in Australia.
8) Out of his 49 ODI centuries India won 35 times.
9) Out of his 51 test centuries India won 20 times and 20 are draws only 11 times India lost. Still some people say India doesn’t win when Sachin plays well.
Shall we need to

Sachin has achieved height of selfishness; So probably people have to wait until Sachin leaves for heavenly abode, b'coz he is unlikely to retire..
