VVS-Eligance

VVS is a champion. He does not have many 100s & 50s in his name but his each hundred & fifty has become the cause of a win for India & that too against very very odd & defeating situations. Thats where he stands out among the greats of world cricket. VVS has been a Test match winner for us & better than any other Indian batsman under crunch situation. Even better than Sachin & Ganguly. others except Dravid cannot handle the pressure like VVS. They can only hit 100s when there are plenty of wickets left or the situation is good. VVS has batted with talienders to win the matches. He will be missed a lot in Test cricket. VVS - 281 , this innings alone turned the Test match results for India after 2001. After this team India started believing themselves that they can win against the best team in the world.

I accept with Mr. Jatin. Whenever laxman scores 100 or the more runs by any other player in a match India Won many number of times. As every body knows He is very special in 2nd innings and remains. Laxman has been less appreciated in India But In Australia He is hailed and appreciated by many great players like Mark & Steve Waugh, Warne, Hayden and specially Gilchrist and many. His special innings in Adeliade,Sydney will be remembered for a long time.

Tight Jeans
the best against quality bowling

both Dravid and Laxman,it was a treat for our eyes to see them playing top quality bowling. Both selfless and always played with team and country interests in mind. Selfless people like Dravid, Laxman, Kumble etc. move on to make way for others. Not everybody have this broad minded attitude...some just try to survive.

India has mostly T20 players - Lax cannot retire
by Talisman on Aug 18, 2012 03:33 AM  | Hide replies

India has many t20 punks that can bat or bowl for 4 overs. Test cricket requires batting for an entire day.

We don't have players like Laxman. Yes. We have heard about Rohit, Raina, Yuvaraj etc. The bottom line is none of these players are suited for test cricket.

Pujara is a hope and even he needs time to settle down into the team. Laxman cant leave because some couch potatoes that have never played cricket or any sports in their entire life criticizes him that he is above a certain age.

You r rite and having seen Pujara play before he will b successful. Also this Kohli form is great currently so he and Pujara are enough of two new players in the side.

And i think you are taking correct decision at correct time and we would like you make a one more winning innings before you retire. You are one of the best test player especially against Ausies, india has produced.

Hope our Sachin learns from all these fellows and someone said Sehwag too... Pl note WE ARE NO.1 FOR 2 yrs only due to Sehwag.. Biggest matchwinner ever for us,, His success makes people jealous.. thats it he shd play til 2015 world cup else with players like Rohit Sharma we are doomed to fail surely

If VVS plans to retire,he should do it now so the young ones can be tested in the NZ series.VVS is a great batsman and match winner. He will be remembered by the countrymen for his contribution to Indian Cricket.

why so he shd play NZ series, great guy, if someone shd learn then e.g is Saurav, Rahul, VVS..from these guys then is Master Tendulkar... Serious thought, he will be greatest if he goes else he will be forgotten as he has all records and money. Wont count anything else now as he is spoiling future of young batsman...
